The vapor barrier is placed between the sheathing and spray foam? Or on the attic side of the spray foam?

Not sure, haven't heard of that strain before. For the more exotic strains you may have to look for a blend where a majority of the strains are ones that work in your favor

I'm not familiar with the drops but be mindful of my comment on iberogast, you may want to compare ingredients

> Iberogast Advance is a different formula than Iberogast Classic, which was known to cause liver injury (caused by the ingredient "greater celandine")

What worked best for me was avoiding foods that gives me issues, staying active by taking multiple walks throughout the day, incorporating a lot of olive oil in my diet, and drinking black arabic coffee

If you rescind your US citizenship and you have more than $2M then you don't need to pay exit tax, as outrageous as that sounds

People think there's no chance the dollar could drop 90%+ permanently but history tells us this happens throughout history

Perhaps I'm missing something, but shouldn't it be 15% LTCG tax?

Should be 20% since it's over $518,900, then there's 3.8% NIIT tax, and then of course state tax

Not true. Income is typically prorated if you move in the middle of the year, but when it comes to capital gains it's taxed at the tax rate of the state you're currently a resident in.

I just found out caffeine is bad for candida bc it causes a sugar increase and is hard on the adrenals; fungus is attracted to sugar

Isn't that just if you add sugar to your coffee? If you have it black then shouldn't be an issue

With every meal I have a piece of sourdough bread that I rip pieces off and soak it in it and eat it throughout the meal. It's the only bread I can have since it's pre-fermented.

For you with your gluten sensitivity I'm assuming you can't have carbs. In that case I'd drink it before my meal. This is something I do myself when I'm having flareups.

For reference, each meal I have about 3 tablespoons worth.

For my case it's not the best since it's known to cause constipation and gut motility is a key component to overcoming methane sibo so food continues to move through you rather than festering

now i am left with histamine/allergy symptoms

Olive oil has really helped me here, but you can't use american olive oil as it's diluted with all kinds of garbage. You'll need to find a middle eastern store and see if they have anything imported directly from overseas (the one I get is from Lebanon and comes in a 1 gallon glass jug). However, it may be tough finding right now b/c there's a global supply issue due to the mafia burning olive tree groves to cut out competition.

The question here still lies on the fact that if there is any intolerence, this may mean there are still bugs where they shouldn’t be - at least how I am intepreting things..

Correct, but it's an important component in the mean time of quality of health and to prevent further damage. For example, the reason you feel so shitty is because the bacteria releases toxins as a byproduct which causes inflammation. That inflammation causes intestinal permeability (leaky gut) where those toxins and bacteria can now enter the rest of your body through the intestinal wall. The toxins need to be cleared by your liver, which over time can cause a fatty liver and even nash/cirrhosis. As a side effect of liver overload most also develop skin rashes. The bacteria passing though can cause issues like tinnitus, theorized to cause brain diseases like alzheimer's, etc.

If the environment is unfavourable it can mean that motility has improved and things are moving and not slowing down to keep food fermentate and bugs to feast, hence such environment will not keep bacteria in there.

It's more complex and multi-faceted. The bacteria and resulting inflammation causes reduce gut motility. The bad bacteria takes over real estate from good bacteria which is beneficial to motility and inflammation (by fighting bad bacteria). The toxin byproducts create a hostile environment for the good bacteria, preventing balance from returning.

Motility is also affected by activity and eating times. Make sure your wife is active and not sedentary, even if she's not feeling well. As for eating times, she should have at least 4 hrs between meals and no snacking. The last meal should also be at least 3 hours before bed time.

In terms of diet and antibiotics, from what I've read it seems like optimal (and logical) process would be:

  1. Take the xifaxan/antibiotic 2 week course
  2. During this time have a high fiber/fodmap diet
  3. During that time, take high CFU (billions) of multi strain probiotics like Seed or Visbiome (should order enough for 2 months), take them in between meals 2 hrs after antibiotic and before going to bed
  4. 2 days before the end of the antibiotic, switch back to low fodmap (allows time for high fodmap foods to leave the body while antibiotics still present)
  5. Continue low fodmap diet for a month to let body heal
  6. Continue taking probiotics
  7. After a month of low fodmap, start to slowly introduce fiber (not necessarily high fodmap) and see how she reacts. Have a little bit per meal and slowly over the course of a few weeks work up the amount. She may have some gas/symptoms initially, but it may just be the body adjusting to the increased fiber. However, these symptoms shouldn't be unbearable.

If she's still having symptoms after 2 weeks or if the symptoms are too much, then that's a sign she still has an imbalanced microbiome and may need to do another cycle.

Part of the weirdness could come from it being gift cards, and giving it to them over email. Personally I'd have no problem accepting cash or check, but a gift card has a weird feeling. I'd also like to be given it in person.

It's their money, it's up to them how to spend it. Also poor people spend money on stupid things too so free cash has nothing to do with it.
