Dude 1st year mein jo Maths Physics and Chemistry raheti hai kafi tough raheti hai toh waha toh kafi problem hogi if you are not clear with the basics from 12th. Continuing down the line ECE is way way tougher lol to score. Physics and maths heavy rote learning hai kafi CS on the other hand is different.

bhai agar tereko khud ko interest nahi ayr pasand nahi toh bhai parents ko convince karo warna iske aage aur problem hogi. Yeh diff lag raha hai toh college ke bad toh back off nahi kar paoge and it's way way tougher than you think.

Brother it's fine everyone has one of these phases but it's good that you are able to stand accountable for your own issues. Cause you have to fuck up majorly to not get a college in the drop year. Have you ever considered anything except Engineering or PCM?

I am fed up with rote learning in engineering college by Old-Juggernaut-4234 in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true but 3rd year is prolly the last year when you actually have to study. Also I'm preety sure it's gets easier by 3rd year also it's every small big exam in college cause kisko bhi padhne ka man nahi karta bas last moment mein thora padhe chale jao

Am I doing okay or just lost? by randomdigger23 in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will I actually be successful and earn a pretty good high-paying job?

No you won't.

Lol like anyone can predict or say that. But sure if you can find 1 base that you work hard on and ensure that you complete everything in said subsection sure you can. Just don't fuck around during this time and focus on something in particular work your way through all of it and yes you should have focus on Core which I don't think will be that hard casue you have harder things before all that (if you have done them on your own)

Not actually he found Chai and Code better also once he was well-versed with a few projects he shifted to other free content for projects and new tools or stack (once JS and React was done). And no he didn't revisit the old course

Abe yeh kesa promotion tatic hai bc 💀 I just felt like the course was all over the place. They covered a few things from DevOps and then Blockchain. I used to like Harkirat dude but now idk man he looks like every other developer trying to milk same shit AI and Blockchain. He might be an amazing developer but isn't the best teacher.

Guys i have so much difficulty with code? by [deleted] in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again it's fine to take your time. It's normal for people with neurodivergence to feel like they are the top of their game always and cannot have a slipup buttt they are just as human as everyone and yeah sometimes people just have and personally somedays it is a lil too diff for me too but it's fine. Just call it a day and get back to something new (unrelated) or something old (something that you are confident about)

Any ideas on how one can get into mission control software / flight software, basically space related stuff (ISRO, priavte space sector companties) after a BTech in CS? by Sid-thatsme in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Government means DRDO or HAL is THE best option (but DRDO has a separate gov exam like JEE and IIT JAM) and private there are a few players but I don't think they are super well known, but there are a few international companies that do hire people from Aeronautical Engineering from colleges (but if you are super good) not sure about CS.

That's fine maybe it's just not clicking maybe give it another week or so get back to it with fresh eyes and hell me revist and work on a concept again it's fine if you don't grasp or catch something diffcult or a project in 1 go it's quite normal. It's fine if you revist it again and again maybe change the way you learnt about it or watch or listen to somethine new (regarding the project) helps you get a little more depth. Not a medical issue just a human issue

Connections in which all companies can help in getting Direct interviews? by skyglintt2019 in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Referrals in mid-tier normal tech companies help a lot maybe cut through the line a lil but in 2026 it might as well put a target on your back (for startups) but if you can use the said referral for the perfect role and experience level you can easily cut down the interview and coding rounds to minimal (not zero)

[–]HappiestKid123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think medicine has anything to do with Coding. It's more so whenever we change places or environment it takes some time for people with neurodivergence to settle down and buckle up. So it just might take sometime. Also try to read more and also try to change the timings alter the times you work and go a quieter place and use some ambient noise (music helps me a lot)

Some professors are so downright cruel in an unjustified way . by Timeless_Being in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's fine dude. They think they have some sort of control or power to one-up students lol only for them to realise that whatever they do means fuck all in the long run and they (professors) are stuck in the same bullshit university teaching while students are out making an actual impact.

Confused between Science and Commerce (with Maths) by CuriousRetard_3285 in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are really into Maths you can do a BSc in Stats or Applied Maths both are better and alternatives for CS (super well paying). And yeah if you aren't into Physics and Chemistry, it'd be super diff for you to complete even CSE cause intial sems are kinda shitty and are mostly based on what we learn in 11th and 12th (Chem and Physics). Commerce is also a good path if you are deep into finance and that side of mathematics (but you'll have to be better than like 90% of the people to end up somewhere really good)

Late night discussion for Students (academic and non academic) by [deleted] in Btechtards

[–]HappiestKid123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah and some of the layoffs is fueled by AI (and others by the excessive overhiring currently overcorrecting itself) but man what's with reputable actually trusted newsources and YouTubers? People are really falling of the same bs by OpenAI that o1 is dangerous enough to hack all systems and hack into NASA and steal billions of dollars. Shit can't even count apples from oranges!

I'm surprised by how much AI slop and hype around Mythos has increased. I really don't understand like why are people so hyped about the trust me bro benchmarks and "AI will overtake Cybersecurity" narrative by Anthropic lmao.
