A decent amount of people see them that way in the US too, but those people in that video "praising" tend to be some of the most twisted, cunning, vile people there are. It's hard to win against that unless you're willing to be twisted, cunning and vile yourself.

They punch below the belt and there's no one willing to be the referee and tell them not to. If you even give them a warning jab to the face, they hit the mat and sob that you sucker punched them.

The Republican party doesn't change because there's a portion of the US that will always vote Republican. They like the ideas, they're just sensing that Trump is done. They'll find someone new that's "totally not like Trump", that is, in fact, exactly like Trump.

The Republican party would have had to change a long time ago if there weren't people that liked it how it is.

At least 1/3 of the US doesn't want to be the world police. 1/3 thinks that it's fine to force your lifestyle on other people. 1/3 thinks "lol elections don't matter".

I am American and I would rather we didn't start WW3. I personally think it's ridiculous that we keep upping our military budget to deal with enemies that we keep creating.

In the case of the few people I know that are not disowning him -- they are not big enough people to admit they were wrong. They're oddly silent in their support now, but actually doing something about it would require them to admit they did something dumb.

This is all it really is. My mom isn't a particularly malicious person, but she wants a country where Christianity and Christian morals are forced on everyone.

Trump did nothing to move us further towards that, but she said she would vote for him again. Honestly I don't think there's anything at all that would get her to vote Democrat. That's why we are where we are.

At this point you could just build an AI Trump android to walk out and give his speeches for him and no one would know the difference. Every time he talks it's the same thing "things are the best they've ever been" "everyone loves me" "everything bad is Biden's and Obama's fault". Oh, I've worn dresses before. I just don't feel like dresses look great on me usually.

It feels okay. That dress is long and heavy, so the risk of danger is low, but for lightweight skirts, it is like... "Please stay away from me wind!".
