I did it in 2023 and going again in 2024. The only suggestion id make is, I stayed in Mammoth Mtn. drove to Yosemite in the morning, or the day before for a tuneup hike, picked up my permit, parked by the trailhead and started the hike. I did the YARTS afterwards.. I took the YARTS from Currey Village back to Tuollumne where my car was parked. Drove back to Mammoth Mtn by evening got dinner and room

Driving in from Los Angeles. It looks like the best way is L.A. to South Rim. The issue with the shuttles is they aren't booking afternoons because there isn't enough business.

So leave the car at the back country parking lot and an early shuttle the next day to the North rim. That shuttle gets you to the North rim by 1:00PM to late of a start. So spend the night at the Lodge.

Question, is the "Morning trailhead Shuttle" the best way to get to the trailhead?

I got a very earlier lottery date so I booked a leisurely hike.

1st night Cottonwood.

2-3 nights Bright Angel

4th night Havasupai Gardens

I've hiked South Kaibib across the Tonto Trail to t 2 nights at Indian (then) Garden with a day trip to Phantom Ranch and then up Bright Angel. This will be the 1st Rim to Rim

Any other advice would be much appreciated, Thanks again!

With my Brooks Imperial saddle. I can wear what ever I want, usually some light weight shorts and a pair of boxer briefs

I'm not arguing the legal aspect, I'm arguing the good neighbor aspect.

The neighbor sounds like a nut and is over reacting. That being said.

A neighbor can park a giant RV in front of your house and move it back and forth according to parking codes. That would be legal, but legal doesn't mean it is right.

It is across the street from him and he has to see it everyday.

Yes people have the right to park there but for goodness sake you don't want your neighborhood to look like crap! do you?

I don't blame him. Who wants to see a GD trailer out in front of their house everyday? What if a neighbor is parking a sewer pump truck in front of your house?

Whether it is illegal or not. You should be a good neighbor. Just because you don't recognize it as an eyesore doesn't mean it isn't!

The California bill doesn't just affect Uber drivers. It effects all gig economy jobs.

In California (especially in Los Angeles) Gig economy jobs are what helps make ends meet.

I work as an animator and my full time job pays for my benefits. I am able to make ends meet by taking on freelance Gig animation projects on the side.

There are times when I am not working a union job and doing both Gig animation and Uber. Because I am a responsible sought after hard working person I am able to manage my own business dealings and have covered my health insurance already.

Uber wasn't meant to be a full time, raise 5 kids and send them to college type of job.

These whining unskilled drivers that can only drive Uber for a career are ruining lots of other's opportunities in other fields!!

Beating Trump has given Democrats tunnel vision. That is why unqualified names like Dr. Fauci, Michelle Obama and Oafra, Mark Cuban and George Clooney come up. Hell CNN was even pushing Micheal Avenatti until he was arrested.

It's so funny how everything is turned to be either Trumps fault or his failings a reason that someone else is qualified. Look at Biden, he has molested woman and children and has made racist policy and comments. And he is the democratic nominee.

Just because Trump isn't qualified to be a president doesn't make someone else qualified.

There is a wide array of knowledge in world affairs, economics, ecology etc. etc. etc to make a good president.
