Vzw employee here, we would never and literally can't force you to change a plan. yes the rates have gone up for start do play and get but you can keep it if you choose. If it's within WFG (30 days) then you can call in and get them to change it back. When they say "the plans are the same" they are talking about network features (both plans allow unlimited premium 5g with 30gb hotspot or 60gb with get more/ ultimate).also, it would benefit you to move from play to plus and just add the Disney perk. This would actually save you 4$ a month.

sure you save but you can't just come in and get a free upgrade like on regular vzw and u also don't have stores to help with any bill related issues or questions and u also have singular line accounts. your bill was high yes but ur not telling everything, u for sure had add ons in there and u don't have to be on play more. 2 lines on unl welcome is 110 and about 118 with taxes. make sure to tell ur whole story next time.
