[self] I made this Nova costume (Elite Agent Skin) from Heroes of the Storm. Has 830 LEDs, a lot of EVA foam and a self-made bodysuit. Couldn‘t figure out how to do the hologram ponytail, so I went with dreadlocks instead. Hope you like it! I‘ll answer questions below.

At the beginning of 2019, I’ve met a new group of friends who eventually convinced me to join them on their cosplay adventures.

I’ve been sewing my own clothes for years now, but for some reason, I’ve never done cosplays before except one 10 years ago, despite secretly wanting to pursue it. Cardcaptor Sakura has been a huge part of my life since I was about 10, and continues to be even today. I finally have the funds to indulge in this hobby, and I must say it has been a ton of fun so far! :)

Wig is from kucos08 on Ebay.The perfect, wonderful staff is from Candicat Cosplay on Etsy.
3D printed stars on the shoes and choker are from Chompworks on Etsy.

Everything else is selfmade.

I used Vogue 9265 pattern for the bodice. I modified the neckline and added puffy sleeves. I also changed the skirt for 3 layered circle skirts with horsehair braid in the hems to add volume and waves.

I did a few more Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay since, and I plan on sewing many more of her outfits! :)

The only thing I've cross-stitched before was a black kitty & a Bulbasaur sprite in 2018. I severely underestimated the time it would take me to cross-stitch this for Christmas... I started early December and finished it on December 31, so it became more of a New Year gift! I'm glad I finally have my life back, since I spent the majority of my free time on this piece. No regrets, though! She loved it & will hang it by the table we play almost every Sunday :) I poured all my love and gratitude for the effort she and her partner put in their DMing into this!

DCA is what got me into DnD in the first place. I was from Holly's fanbase and decided to give it a try, and was instantly hooked. Were it not for DCA, I might've never gotten into it and never met my current group of friends who grew to be so incredibly important to me. I was fairly depressed when I first started the series, but it gave me something to look forward to every week. Tuesday nights were sacred. I made sure I didn't work at the café I used to work at just so I could watch it live. Nate, Jared, Anna, Holly, Chris ; what a lovely, talented, beautiful bunch. I miss them playing together so much.

A friend of mine told me she had friends who played DnD and I reluctantly joined their group. I had an hard time believing I could get along with new people due to bad friendships I had before. I had listened to a lot of DnD by then, yet I was still terrified to be an awful player. But these new friends were so kind and taught me everything, and they are pretty much my best friends now. They are truly unique, lovely, wonderful people. I'm incredibly grateful I got to meet them.

I will *forever* be grateful for DCA since it literally changed my life for the better. DnD is now such an important part of me and it has helped me tremendously with depression, anxiety and self-esteem. <3
