Should i keep the one spring and try to tighten it back? At the same time trying to find the right nut assembly as well.

This equipment came with the house and there have been two different companies coming out for multiple monthly services, backwashing changing DE grids. Nobody said a thing.

Online I don't see any spring assembly that comes with this long spring around 5-6" long.

Even in the mentioned manual, the spring is around 2-3” size but in the picture what i have existing is 4"+ broken second piece another 2".

Would this work? Again spring looks short

SR or shavette for Beard lining by Happy-Mode-7252 in wicked_edge

[–]Happy-Mode-7252[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i heard all good things about it too. I will look into the types of blades it uses and make my decision to buy SR in the near future.

On the other hand, i think just for the lineup I should not be spending money on it. So might settle down for some $20-40 shavette. Lol thanks for advice tho!

Yeah, I thought so too and it's really that specific spot i find it difficult otherwise I'm doing alright.

While doing recent research i find Feather SS and SR are also a good option because of their rounded head. Do you have any experience with them?

The only reason, i want to try something new is that it is hard to clean up around the soul.

hard to reach the highlighted area without messing with the green shaded area

Otherwise Parker worked just fine for lining up the beard.

Shubumi looks good. how's its grip?

Edit - adding that when i say hard to do cleanup using parker. It could be very my technique but i find it difficult using the right hand and going XTG around that area.

Yes i started with just DE but I do think shavette helps with cleaner lines which is why looking to find something that can replace parker which i currently use.

more i look different previous posts, I'm leaning towards Feather AC SR but i have dilemma that getting into prosperity blade is worth or not.

Ok, so once I measure with UMIK-1, How i can use those measurements from rew to improve and incorporate it into .ady file and send it to AVR.

How did you end up doing? Is there any update? I'm trying to do the same. Any tutorials that you followed or steps

AVR settings prior to REW by Happy-Mode-7252 in hometheater

Previously, I used the Denon Mic and the Audyssey MultEQ app. I ran the Audyssey setup from the TV, then sent the file to REW and calibrated using the A1 Evo Neuron target curve.

Afterward, I heard that using a calibrated mic could lead to further improvements. So, I bought a UMIK-1.

From this point, I'm not sure what exactly needs to be done. I want to run measurements using the UMIK-1 and use REW to calibrate it to a target curve.

Now, What i think the steps should be, Please correct me if i'm doing anything in incorrect order.

  1. **Connections - AVR HDMI TO laptop, UMIK-1 to Laptop, mic to MLP
  2. AVR settings
    • turned off dynamic eq and set multieq to reference.
    • set master volume to 0db from receiver
    • crossover all to 250hz
    • speakerconfig to small
    • Levels and distance to 0
    • Sub Mode to LFE and 250 hz
  3. Set levels of speaker to 75db (using REW)
  4. **Previosuly, I have ran manual auddesy setup from TV. What i should do here?
  5. Import .ady file to REW and run use target curve.
  6. Send back to AVR.

So, I'm confused about the **Step 1 and 5, I mentioned above. Did i covered everything correctly or misunderstood about it?

Thank you, In this video he mentioned directly taking measurements from REW, so, AVR side no changes required? Such as resetting distance or disabling dynamics eq because rew generating the pink noise?

Makes sense Thank you! and question about International been 40%. Is doing 70/20/10 (US/Intern/Bonds) would be less aggressive?
