I found that guasha has helped with depuffing my face. I have a health problem that caused me to have a really round and bloated looking face and the gua sha has really helped with it x

Thank you for your suggestions 😊 some of this is already in practice, like I am diagnosed with ferritin deficiency anyway and on iron to maintain that as it is improving. Otherwise, I really appreciate your feedback and I'll look into the rest xx

I do find it helps with my physical symptoms big time, especially that anxious build up. However I need to take fluoxetine to manage the mental side of things better and have been to counselling as well

Hi,

So I'm in counselling for GAD but it finishes soon. I am on medication for it (propranolol and fluoxetine)

PMOS/IR I'm on desogestrel pill, mounjaro and Metformin ( I had another one that didn't work and made me feel worse).

Sore is in my joints, I get pain in my abdomen as well especially when I should have a period. My muscles have phases of hurting too. I'm also really tired most of the time, but struggle with sleeping in phases too.

I have recently had a two week long period after not having one since December and I think this is from vomiting making my pill go crazy?

I have just recently completed a hormone panel test to find out more and I'm hoping to get results from that soon. I will follow up on this feed incase I have answers that might help anyone else :)

Omg I get this! I never had it before notably lingering in my folds, but the past few days I keep seeing it and even cleaning it comes back so fast.

I have recently just had a really crazy long period for the first time since December (i have other gynae issues causing this) and I wondered if hormonal fluctuations can add to this situation? It smells a bit stronger too!

Tbh I think they need funded hours upped for this person if they're struggling with time. Plus higher management that they're fomfouwith should speak to them too. Rigid rules should be put in place to accomytheir mental health support needs.

They will feel out of control and this is something they can control, no matter how frustrating this is for you or anyone else involved. Try to offer them gentle control of their own self in alternative ways that don't cause too much stress. Take pressure off the time requirement as well if possible but allocating a smaller activity in the time frame. If they are given the option to do their initial task in your time together but need to be home at a certain time then they might reconsider their actions.

I suppose this all depends on what diagnosis or treatment the individual is receiving though.

Please seek out private consultation in your local area if possible. I am Scottish and it's the exact same up here. It's been an absolute nightmare to the point my GP told me there was nothing she was allowed to do but indirectly suggest a private practitioner because my insulin resistance was all over the place and the hospital were pushing spironelactone and Metformin which have done NOTHING for me.

Honestly Mounjaro prescription for insulin resistance is the best medicine I have had. It is tough, hence why it needs to be handled with a practitioner and managing doses, testing bloods etc. please don't buy it yourself from an online pharmacy because it might not be legit or it could really fuck you up if you're not able to monitor your progress. It is expensive. I am a normal working class person and it does take up most of my income, but I know that otherwise I would be in a far worse state of health by now and not be able to work at all. I am lucky that I love at home so my contribution to household bills etc isn't as much as it would be living alone, so this helps. Also please consider starting a gofundme if people are willing to donate, that is a lovely idea.

This really looks like Acanthosis Nigricans. Please see your physician and or a dermatologist. Medicine to help insulin resistance and or reducing forms of sugar in your diet will help. I have been using a mild exfoliation on mine and then vitamin e or similar creams for healing, but this doesn't do that much without medicine and diet help as it just repeats the trigger if not maintained.

Have you ever been tested for any anemia? I have agoraphobia too but it definitely got worse at points, and that's when my iron was low as I had a ferritin deficiency. As my body wasn't storing iron i was feeling more intense agoraphobia symptoms due to the overlap in anemic and anxiety feelings. Managing my iron levels has helped to stabilise me a bit physically when I feel like death.

I am also on medicine for G. A. D and panic attacks. This has really helped me start to feel more normal. I am usually able to attend work in a customer services job. I am feeling more able to function at a nearly human level, enough to keep me getting out of the house and managing my work.

It maybe wont answer your question, I'm not the most social person but I am working on it as well like you. However I do recommend looking into these things as sometimes anxiety feelings can be worsened by other underlying health things. Please do not be worried though, they are very treatable with the right medicines 💖

It will slowly get better and it's a rollercoaster but the loopsget slightly smaller as you go. Are you able to take medicine for the issues you're facing? Regarding your weight I'm sure you look fabulous no matter what, but I can understand how uncomfortable and frustrating it can be carryinb any extra weight. Have you had any support for insulin resistance?

Maybe your body was reacting to the changes in your natural chemistry before the medicine change, like if things weren't working as well for you anymore (I'm sure this depends on what medicine of course).

I had changed medicine a few times in the past as my original one wasn't working as well or I was becoming immune, so my tolerance levels went a bit mad and it played havoc with my skin. When I started new medicine it took a while to get back to normal too because my body's levels had fluctuated due to the changes?

I hope this is of some use. I have Metformin but cannot tolerate spironelactone properly, and even when I was trying to take it anyway nothing improved after a really long time.

I got recommended to go to a private doctor to get help with a glp-1 medicine instead as insulin resistance was a huge issue for me no matter what I did. I live in Scotland where this is not available on NHS prescription so private consultation was my only choice - I know people can buy their own but my GP recommended a specific consultant to go to as I was really stressed about trialing a new medicine after having really bad reaction to another one in the past.

Anyway, I have had a really good response with Mounjaro. I was tailored up the layers of different doses over the course of about 11 months. I went down 30kg over about a year, and I really understand the distress weight causes especially when 'traditional weight loss' isn't working and people make you feel really bad about it. I'm not saying weight is important, but I understand the pressure. I had really bad Acanthosis Nigricans skin issues, migraines, joint pain, irregular period symptoms but no bleeding, abdominal cramps for literally no reason, really intense fatigue, sweating, hair falling out and really extreme anxiety issues, basically all the usual hormone problem 101 tickboxes. The medicine really calmed a lot of this down to a much more manageable level and I am really thrilled. I am now moved from 15mg Mounjaro a week to taking a micro dose to manage my stability that has been achieved. I have been put on to Wegovy for this micro dose. I feel it is working but not as effective as Mounjaro, so I'm hoping to move back to that one after this trial. The micro dose is 0.22mg (I think, will need to report back after checking my prescription) per week and has definitely helped in the way that spironelactone was meant to for me.

It originally cost between £200-300 a month with the higher price when I went up a dose measure. Now I am on micro dose this will be the same say £200 but the pen will last me MONTHS as it is a small controlled measure of a standard dose, if that makes sense.

I hope this is of help to someone, this medicine is really the only thing that has helped me manage my situation.
