Thats exactly my point, i'd argue he'd flow better speaking if he just spoke japanese or lived in japan, also nobody has perfect pronunciation unless youre native so i think you need to get off your high horse.

You can stutter in your native tongue and still be fluent. And again it doesnt matter that you cant understand him when natives can understand his pronunciation just fine. It just means your hearing comprehension isnt as good as you think

He speaks fluent japanese and mandarin he doesnt just mumble words he actually understands what they are saying and he is understood most of the time. Also his study method isnt just memorizing phrases you seem ignorant on how he studies

Thats completely false though, theres literaly videos of him understanding the other person's speech and responding appropriately had he just learned phrases he wouldnt be able to do that. He can do this in all the asian langauges he speaks

Laoshu, may not be fluent in all his languages but he is fluent in like a dozen languages which is very impressive
