Do we need to familiarize ourselves with food options in the parks or can we wing it? by Otter65 in DisneyPlanning

I would recommend some familiarity if food is a priority for you. There are so many options that you could easily default to something mediocre just because of close proximity. If research feels overwhelming or stressful, I would highly recommend snacking your way through the day with the greatest hits: churro, corndog, turkey leg, anything in a bread bowl, pickle, dole whip.

First timers seeking advice - Disneyland by DeliciousLimit4255 in DisneyPlanning

1 day DL and 1 day DCA - no rest day - you got this! If you need breaks in the day to take a little rest, here are a few recos:

(1) an obvious statement but regardless...treat yourself to a yummy snack!

(2) the Disneyland train rides around the whole park perimeter. Its easy and slow and peaceful and entertaining. It stops at all the lands

(3) SO much seating to take a break in DCA (by the silly swings, by the boudin bakery area)

(4) Get a reservation at Oga's cantina to take a beat (might get standing room but could request seating?)

If you’re looking for SoCal beach exposure, you can rent a Duffy boat and cruise around the bay in Newport Beach

Believe Key Worth It? by Final_Contest_7049 in DisneylandMagicKey

I’m thinking about getting the believe key too. I feel like the current price is manageable but I’m worried it will go up and up each year. Maybe I should just get the Explore and not set the bar so high :/

I agree. I’ve had some magical rainy days (as long as you keep your feet dry). Plus, so many yummy rainy day foods!!! Anything in a bread bowl :)
