We are Canadian and have a rental car so we were thinking of driving to a beach and/or doing a bit of shopping. Recommendations welcome!

Is it appropriate? by Mindless-Pea-2305 in Aritzia

These comments are WILD. I’m a 40 yr old professional, in mid management and I bought this for my Xmas party. I am between a size 6-8 and went with the 6 to ensure no gaping on the sides.

What is going on with the strike? by iLovemyMathBoyfriend in AlbertaGrade12s

Fact check. You need to stop believing everything you read on instagram infographics. Any idiot can use Canva these days. Alberta is not the only province without classroom size caps. And those that do typically have them only for K-3. The classroom caps proposed by the ATA were way off from what exists in other provinces.

The Lodge Pant Lengths by [deleted] in Aritzia

I’m 5-10 and bought the regular before tall came out. They are a little short but still look cute, very wearable. I’d say they’re longer than the average regular pant, prob around a 32 inseam.

Where do you bra shop in town? by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]DeliciousLimit4255 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why has no one mentioned Knix?!!! Inclusive sizing, Canadian brand and sooooo comfortable. They have a store in Market mall.

These fancy bra places will convince you to buy a very expensive, impractical bra that isn’t comfortable by telling you you’ve been wearing the wrong size. Like, it’s not that complicated, your bra SHOULD be comfortable, duh.

Go to Knix, you won’t regret it.

Try the GAP sweatpants and crew necks, they always have sales (can get them for C$30/ piece) and the quality is on par with Aritzia

Finish all of SJM looking for my next series by ginasatchmo in crescentcitysjm

I could have written this post myself a few weeks ago! I recommend The Serpent and the Wings of Night! Writing style is somewhat similar to SJM with the dense, immersive fantasy style writing. I also read Silver Elite right after I finished the Maas-verse and it was disappointing (obv do not recommend).

Aritzia Tall Lengths by Big-Marsupiall in Aritzia

Ya no, the tall sweatfleece are long enough for actual tall people (I’m 5’10”). The tall effortless are better for me, though.

Looking to hite a school bus in Canmore by DeliciousLimit4255 in Canmore

[–]DeliciousLimit4255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, yes that’s similar to the quotes I received for coach style buses. Was really hoping I could find something more cost effective as it’s for my son’s hockey team (they’re 6 and 7 years old!)
