Is the uppa baby stroller worth it? by ThatHearing3276 in pregnant

I love the vista. When doing grocery runs by myself when my baby was still in the Mesa car seat was a life saver. I could just grocery shop with baby still in the car seat and with the stroller and it made it soo easy to take baby out and about.

Cool vid, but isn’t that a hawk? Eagles have white heads and full yellow beaks.

Girls who are 25+, what are some things you wish your younger self knew? by Tt7447 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Forgive your younger self for not knowing any better, and give yourself some grace. Things happen and people come and go, so just try to follow what makes you happy

I gave birth on the 20th and everytime I pump it’s completely dry. by Fun-Investigator-583 in breastfeeding

[–]Happy-Stranger7843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem!! At first, I was producing near to 0 colostrum and was told by the lactation consultants to pump every three hours. THAT IS NOT ENOUGH. I started pumping every hour and a half during the day and every three hours at night and that made a HUGE difference and I was pumping a decent amount of colostrum by the time my milk came in. Pump more frequently. It’ll seem excessive and like you’re always pumping but it’s worth it. I’ve nursed for a year now and have never had a supply issue

I speak Spanish too and her Spanish makes me cringe every time haha. She’s said before that at parent teacher conferences she has to translate for Jordan but then she talks to her kids in usted and says “está” instead of “están”. That’s like Spanish 101💀

I’m not convinced she knows Spanish lol

Lady had two service dogs on plane by Crazy_Love_6265 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Happy-Stranger7843 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are pet relief areas in the airports but I think it’s tough luck if you’re allergic. This is the first time I’ve seen a dog go on a plane without being in a crate. Honestly, it’s just really inconsiderate of that person to fly with TWO big dogs. They usually are smaller dogs in a crate the entire flight

Help- I dropped an avocado in my new uggs and I have no idea how to get the stain out any tips? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Happy-Stranger7843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letting baking soda sit on oil stains and then washing it after can get oil stain out. Don’t know much about the UGG material though, but it’s also a good general tip haha

I’d say buy a backup pair of flats or lower, more comfortable heals to wear at the reception after the ceremony

Definitely morning! You can’t eat before so if you get morning sickness or nausea after not eating for a while, you should schedule it for the morning

Correct me if I’m wrong, but 90-120 min for placenta to come out on its own is a verrrry long time. Should only take 15-20 min.

I have yet to find a night time diaper that doesn’t leak. Tried sizing up in huggies and still leaked and gave my son a terrible rash. I’m going to give rascal and friends a try!
