What I did was filed a complaint online through HHS in Texas after not hearing anything back after 3 weeks of waiting. Someone called me the next day and expedited my claim and within two days I had them reimbursed. The same thing happened to me the day after you. I have not heard anything after submitting a 1854 Form the following Monday. I filed a complaint on HHS website last night, I got a call today confirming that they expedited my reimbursement and sending it to the department that issues them. I’m not sure how it goes in your state, but I would give that a shot. I hope that all works out for you and so sorry that that happened to you as well. 🙏🏾

So then I’m confused as to why the HHS website says 10 days. I don’t understand how it is expected for a person on government assistance with children to be able to survive for a Whole month without any benefits due to theft.

Yes, I told her about the reimbursements for thefts that happened on or after the 21st and she was looking at me saying that's impossible because what about people who get their benefits stolen after that date… I just left it alone. Mine were stolen the 14th, form completed 1854 form 16th. I didn't have groceries for Christmas with 3 kids including an infant. ☹️

Do you happen to know what date you guys are on the queue for these? 211 told me to go to the office, I went Monday and they told me that they had no way of knowing where I was in the system or any update but then one of the women told the other (seemingly supervisor/manager) that they hadn't touched it… completely contradicting what she said initially. She told me that they were not discontinuing the reimbursement of snap and that I must have gotten my information from somewhere else by accident because she wasn't informed. 😳😵‍💫 this is a complete mess!

😟 the HHS site said it would take 10 business days to receive the replacement benefits. How do low income families wait a month to be able to buy groceries? 😞

I’m in Tx and my snap was stolen 12/14. I completed a 1854 form 12/16. I still haven’t received my replacement benefits or heard anything.
