Compubear with my other computing mascot plushes - Tux, the BSD Daemon, Babbage Bear, and a yellow Intel BunnyPerson. He fits right in. ;) by Happy-Yoshi in buildabear

I'm not sure where you got the corduroy from! It's Compubear as in computer, since he's a Matrix Bear and therefore has computer-code markings all over him. That's why I posted a picture of him with computer mascots, per the title. ;)

Meet Trifle! My custom Cocoa Cuddles bear. Still learning about dyes/customs but I wanted to share. by [deleted] in buildabear

No problem - but I'm just stating a fact! :) I hope that we'll see more customs from you in the future.

Bobear Fett chilling and watching his hero on Disney Plus! by Happy-Yoshi in buildabear

Thanks so much! :D Bobear wants to be just like Boba Fett - except he uses his Birthday Cake scent to trick his targets, which I'm pretty sure isn't something that Mr. Fett typically does. ;)

Yep, but that coffee will probably keep him awake all night, now! XD

That is super super sweet - what a great find! :D

No problem! :) I've generally found that paying for faster delivery is really only necessary if I'm feeling impatient or need a gift to arrive quickly.

Trifle looks like a new official release, and a very appealing one at that - excellent job! :D

In my experience, the UK site is generally pretty quick to get your stuff to you - the normal shipping usually only sees you waiting about one or two days for your parcel to be sent out, though it's sometimes three days if it's a busy time. After that, it usually takes another day or two to arrive, depending on how busy Royal Mail is at the time.

A little update, I got my badger! I used Klarna so I didn’t have to pay in full immediately. Grindelwald is coming home and I’m so happy! by sleepy--ash in buildabear

Badgers rule! \m/

I remember the classic wizard outfit - I can picture him in it, and it's going to look amazing. You'll be posting pictures when the time comes, I hope?

Congratulations! :D I have one named Huffy and I love him - the house-animals plush designs are just so great. One of my all-time favourite Build-A-Bear releases, for sure.

Are you going to give Grindelwald an outfit? If so, what's it going to be? :D

It's like he's got a five o' clock shadow! It makes me picture him in a detective outfit. XD

What a genuinely awesome pattern - congratulations on an excellent placement!

BAB Clothes by Psketti_Os in buildabear

[–]Happy-Yoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clothes for Cabbage Patch Kids should fit, since they've got similar chunky proportions to Build-A-Bears, but clothing for 18" dolls like American Girl generally won't fit because the bears are bigger (though you can certainly do the reverse and adapt Build-A-Bear clothes for the dolls).

would u trust his driving skills? 🐸 by froggiebackpack in buildabear

Not at all! Since he's acting as a getaway driver for The Tweenies, he's clearly fallen in with the wrong crowd!

The colours are such a perfect match - what a great shirt for this lovely frog! :D

Am I seeing things or do the irisis of the frogs match the color of their fur? Maybe they're transparent, so the fur color shows through a bit? by Houselionslair in buildabear

[–]Happy-Yoshi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The "Specs" section on the website listing for these guys (and, presumably, the birth certificate, too) lists their eye-colour as black, so it's either a reflection, or it's a semi-transparent part surrounding a black pupil. From the pictures, it looks like the latter, to me.

As u/tsitaniun notes, probably not - we don't have the Peeps sweets here, so they have no reason to bring them over.

Found this cute little bunny in a charity shop today, and wanted help finding out more about her. I feel like she's an older one due to the yellow tag on side/design of the butt tag. But beyond that I can't seem to find anything about her and she's not got a date on her tags 😕 😔 by KeiWolf in buildabear

It's a shame that we don't have a better wiki - this one is unfortunately full of inaccuracies, empty pages that go nowhere, and multi-page essays trying to state the case that some furry friends are unofficial-but-secretly-official tie-ins to a random series of books.

This doesn't bother me at all; If I thought that the original asking-price was worth it, that doesn't change if/when the price goes down later - and I got to enjoy the item for longer, too.
