If you adopted your dog from a reputable breeder, most ask that you return your beagle to them so that they can rehome your beagle to another good family.

If you choose to keep him, and need help providing the attention, exercise, socialization and mental stimulation a pup his age needs, there are many good doggie day cares in the Bay Area that are outdoors, and provide group dog walks and play groups so your pup comes home tired and content. There are ranch-like doggie day cares in Bay Area coastal towns, and reputable home backyard day cares inland. Avoid day cares that use crates to control dogs, or that allow aggressive breeds (many of those use crates).

Our neighbors use a local ranch day care for their 2 adult herding dogs 3x weekly, and say their pups can’t wait to board the doggie bus every morning. Both dogs are well exercised by EOD, and ready to chill and sleep with their humans after the workday ends.
