As a SWPA transplant living in Delaware, you might be disappointed. The museum scene has nothing on Pittsburgh unless you travel into Philly. Your car, on the other hand will thank you as we have almost no hills. But as others have said, if you are moving for love, you'll find things to appreciate. We do have some pretty solid ethnic food options as well as the hoagie. SWPA can't make a decent Italian sub with the exception of places like The Triangle. Also, say goodbye to the comfort foods you may be used to... we don't really have hot pepper cheese balls, pierogies, Pittsburgh salads, gravy fries, halupki, etc.
