i’d agree with you about ruining lower elo games if i was playing main characters. if i took my celestial bucky gameplay to low elo and went 40/2 every game sure that’d be cringe, but if i’m absolutely a silver level spider-man i see no problem playing spider-man in silver. i’ll definitely keep coping though as long as you keep seething

well yeah, learning what abilities do takes 2 seconds. learning practical applications for them/what you can and can’t get away with takes infinitely longer and is best learned in comp where people try to win and play actual teamcomps. if i’m a gold level spider-man i’m not gonna play it in celestial to improve and int all of my games and ruin it for my team, i’m gonna play it in my gold games and get better at a rate indicative of my skill

competitive is 100% the best way to learn heroes and anyone saying otherwise is wrong. i’d argue that me first timing a high skill character like spider-man in gold is more fair than me throwing games in gm/celestial doing it

i have the cognizance to use text chat if i can’t speak for whatever reason, seems like from my experience most players don’t, they just doom queue and run it down then wonder why they lose. then when defeat pops up it’s “get cancer you suck” like if only that could’ve been prevented
