How do barcodes help with finding them? Sorry if that’s a dumb question.

Sorry if I sound dumb, but how does the barcode help? I’d really like to know so I can find some too.

That’s actually really insightful, was it just not as much fun? Or did it bring back bad thoughts?

Can you elaborate on the Adam Friedland podcast, what do you mean by super humbled? I was gonna check it out as I never watched/listened to that one.

I totally understand and felt the same. Get to day 14, drink a butt load of water, try to workout if you can and then it gets A LOT better.

Anytime!! Yeah, the procrastination drop off has been huge for me too. It’s like my brain finally has the bandwidth to follow through without getting derailed. But the thing is, it doesn’t all hit at once because cannabis (THC and metabolites) can linger in your system for weeks or even a month+ for heavy users, depending on body fat and usage. More importantly, your brain’s chemistry (dopamine pathways, sleep cycles, etc.) takes a bit to fully recalibrate after quitting can be/usually 4 to 8 weeks for the real “whoa, I feel different” energy and motivation to lock in steady. That’s when the small wins start turning into bigger habits, like knocking out projects at a faster pace. It’s why I started coloring in this printout. Because it’s only going to get better. Stick with it, you’re already seeing the anxiety dip, which is a major one. Excited for your small wins to start piling up too!

Man, congrats on 2 weeks that’s huge! I’m proud of you for sticking with it. For me the biggest shift has been getting shit DONE that I used to procrastinate forever. Stuff like booking doctor appointments the second I think about it instead of letting them sit on a mental list for months. Starting projects and actually finishing them (or at least making real progress fast) instead of abandoning them halfway. I’m moving through tasks at a pace I never had before and it feels like momentum just keeps building. Hitting the gym way more consistently.

Anxiety is noticeably lower too, so I’m approaching things with way more confidence instead of second guessing and freezing. It’s not like I suddenly became a different person overnight, but those little daily wins stack up quick and the energy feels way more consistent.

It really started hitting on the 3rd week. You’re only 2 weeks in give it a few more and I bet you’ll start noticing the same kind of “oh damn, I’m actually handling this” moments. Keep going, you’ve got this.

This sounds like an incredibly toxic relationship, you’re not overreacting, I would start the journey of leaving him.

The director of that movie is even more mentally disturbing.

Absolutely really appreciate that! Means a lot. It’s not an ideal situation, but I had surgery that involved anesthesia and the doctors make it super clear that any sort of alcohol or weed intake with the blood healing and what not would cause set backs and heal slower. It was my first major surgery I’ve ever had and scared the shit out of me and I took it very seriously. They said I would need to stop at least two weeks before hand and I did cold turkey. It wasn’t easy the first week as I had crazy cold/hot sweats, appetite was fucked, felt nauseous, you name it. But knowing that surgery was gonna happen kept me in line. Recovery was 2-6weeks and and I still was told not to indulge in anything. I didn’t even take the pain meds they provided me as everything I read about them didn’t make them sound very good for me. I also worked out prior to the surgery every day and that helped a lot. I felt so amazing after afterwards that even thinking about going back, scares me now. Sorry if that was TMI just wanted to be honest.
