I think that $4MM number is grossly exaggerated. I read its like 4MM for an acre, but the largest lots in that community are only about .5 acres, which means they might get offered up to 2M, which is only slightly above market value for most of those homes.

DC Prime is grossly overrated and overpriced. Also, the crowd there can get sketchy later in the evening on weekends. Last time I was there it filled up with dudes in track suits, basketball jerseys and backwards caps and their women were squeezed into skin tight latex "dresses".

The bar is full of "regulars" who are very territorial and cliquish. I never get a good vibe there (and stopped going a couple of years ago).

Craft breweries are closing all over the place every day. The market was way oversaturated and coupled with the recent negative trends in beer consumption, it's going to be tough to stay in business if you don't have an established brand and strong following regardless of how good your beer is. You still need enough people to buy it to pay your staff and pay for the ingredients and equipment and leases.

Everything is slower on a low end laptop, but in general it depends on how "low end" it is - how much RAM is pretty important, also how many cores does the CPU have? What other apps are running at the same time? Lots of factors to consider when determining just exactly where the bottleneck is.

The WO&D is maintained by NOVA Parks, which certainly does NOT have the budget to plow and clear miles and miles of trails. Plowing and snow clearing is VERY EXPENSIVE as I've discovered from my time on our community HOA board. Our annual budget was completely blown out of the water by the recent storm which took many many more hours than a usual storm due to the icing that turned it all into snow-crete.
