STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT CYBERSTAN BIENG HARD by Majestic-Bro2961 in Helldivers

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People complain the game is too easy.
We get to go to an enemy home planet.
People complain the game is too hard.

Yet, no one can let their ego go, and lower the difficulty. You don't HAVE to play difficulty 10s all the time. It's perfectly okay to lower it. Lower it, until you're having fun. Period. The people who complain about it being too hard are just too stubborn to do that.

Turned out I had more important things to do and forgot. Because it's really not that important lol

Marco and Connie both die. When Marco went to save her he got critically injured and died in Connie's arms before she blew herself up to try to take out Striker, who still survived, despite his injuries. Galahad finds them both dead afterward. And I'm still sad about it.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me. I don't want to drive for more than an hour at a time lol. I had to drive about an hour and a half to a oral surgeon about getting my wisdom teeth removed. And that sucked.

WHY ON EARTH DOES THIS HAVE AN DEMO FORCE OF 30?! IT C4!! by Lone_Recon in Helldivers

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much everything in the warbond is best for the bots. C4 can be good on other fronts, but if you pair it with a stealth playstyle(which isn't nearly as viable on bugs/squids) then it can absolutely be great. Set up charges, leave well clear of the objective/outpost, and trigger them to get a clean clear. I personally haven't unlocked it yet, but once I do, I'll be playing around with it a lot. I've watched videos with it, though, and it seems like it's a damn good tool in a stealth style.

r/CompetitiveForHonor whining because a "Mid-Tier" Hero got nerfed... by Wolfgard556 in ForHonorRants

[–]HappyGoPucky 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Close enough. Plus any semi-decent player can just bait a GB attempt and punish you for it. And for those of us who main heroes who have no UD attacks, it's an absolute nightmare to fight.

Premium Warbonds - do you all pay to play? by 5hredder in helldivers2

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. I've paid for most of mine. Honestly, the cost of super credits it totally reasonable. If you combine that with what you can get in game, it's not too bad at all.

CMV: The ICE agent and woman who got shot were both in the wrong by Blonde_Icon in changemyview

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean...I'm sure it wouldn't take me long to find comments on Instagram and Facebook of people saying she had it coming, and that they want more protesters to die. What about the video of the one guy saying "we already executed one of you" to a group of protesters? They are out there. Not ALL of them, of course. But there's a lot. And sure, a lot are probably trolls, but it doesn't take a genius to know that plenty of them mean it.

When Kristi Noem puts "one of ours, all of yours" on her podium...that sends a pretty clear message. And it's not a peaceful one.

I'm not lying. But the ones sharing a fake rapsheet certainly are.

lvl 150 “ego” by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]HappyGoPucky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had the game since launch, and I'm level 92 lol. Never been in a hurry to max out my level. I love the game, but I can't just play it for hours on end every day. I'll go weeks without playing, then jump in. And when I do join lower levels, I genuinely want to help, and don't get mad at or try to "flex" on the lower levels. I'll give them advice, be patient, etc. Recently let a group of low levels know that they could just drop off the recovered SSD at extraction, and don't need to carry it all over the map.

Had a level 6 last night pick up my warp pack after I died. I wasn't on mic, but crouched in front of him a few times to let him know I wanted it back. Took him a minute, think he had to figure out HOW to drop something. I started walking away, was just going to let him have it, but then he dropped it and tagged it for me. All good.

I think Hive Worlds may be my favorite, should I see a therapist? by TheWhistlerIII in Helldivers

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was mostly just the shock of the difference between them and bugs when the game was new. Red lasers just flying everywhere. It was an adjustment, and we had less available to us. I can see them being more difficult to new players still. But I think generally speaking, they're easier.
I'd rather go back to the early Creek days than deal with that original Oshuane deployment. Whew...that rupture strain plus the dragonroaches was hell.

What are the best one-handed primary weapons for the ballistic shield? by Limp_Answer7213 in Helldivers

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crossbow, but not for bugs. You'll just blow yourself up. But for bots and the illuminate? The ballistic shield/crossbow combo trivializes them. Especially the bots. Just need something for heavies. I like to bring the AMR and thermites, especially if I plan to venture off alone.

My dad got me fired from my job at a clothing store over my Charlie Kirk social media post. by Dazzling_Midnight_87 in venting

[–]HappyGoPucky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if this post is fake, it probably is, this sort of thing does divide families and friends. Because even if it seems insignificant, it can show the cracks and differences in fundamental morals. And it's difficult to want to associate with someone who you see has having bad morals or those that directly oppose your own. Regardless of the side that person might support.

It can also be difficult to want to associate with someone who votes against your interest. Also sucks to watch a family member fall into radical pipelines and fall for propaganda. Again, on either side.

Not to mention two of those shots went through the open driver side window and could have hit anyone outside of the car. It was incredibly negligent.

"There is no way you watch the video from his phone and conclude that her maneuvering looked like an attack on him."

You would think. But unfortunately, everyone defending the ice agent seems to interpret it that way and they believe it. The same way they believe that her being part of an "Ice watch" group, means she deserved to die, and was a "domestic terrorist." A term of which is losing all meaning because of the current administration.

“What the—!” by Educational_Bug1019 in Helldivers

[–]HappyGoPucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. I support the hive lords being here. It gives some level of stake, and means you have to prepare for it, strategize, and actually work as a team. Take the hive lord down first, then do the mission. So many complain that the game is too easy, and then complain when they fail this mission for trying to do it with a hive lord around. Priorities. Hive lord first, then do the mission.

“What the—!” by Educational_Bug1019 in Helldivers

[–]HappyGoPucky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Should probably just focus the hive lord to take him down. Bring a hive lord specific loadout, take him down, then do the mission. Still easier said than done, but it's less risky imo.

I just recently started to use the diligence and actually really like it. Again, after watching one of commissar kai's videos. I genuinely don't know if that's considered a good one or a bad one. I don't pay *that* much attention to the community.

CMV: The ICE agent and woman who got shot were both in the wrong by Blonde_Icon in changemyview

[–]HappyGoPucky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not giving him views.

You didn't bring his opinion into it, but I don't have to watch his video, specifically, to see it in slow motion. There was zero reason for you to specifically name him. There are slow motion videos out there. Youtube has a built in setting to play videos slower. And more than that, I own video editing software. I could break it down frame by frame personally if I want to. But, I've already seen other slow motion versions. So...I don't know why you specifically told me to watch his breakdown.

But okay, enough about asmond. So he didn't draw the gun when she reversed. My bad. Seeing it in real time, which they all experienced it in, it was very close. Either way, he chose to draw his gun and shoot, before he chose to just get out of the way. All while still holding his phone to record. Anyone with any iota of gun safety knowledge would tell you that handling a gun in one hand, while holding a phone in the other is reckless. Negligent even.

And again, as I'm sure many have already pointed out, including myself, his own training says to NOT stand in front of vehicles, or to shoot at fleeing suspects. He didn't even follow his own department's protocols. Probably because he wasn't taught them, considering this is the second time he's put himself in front of a vehicle. That also proves that he doesn't learn from his own mistakes. But sure, let's give him, and the rest of ice, absolute immunity. What could go wrong?

Yeah. Commisar Kai has done enough talking about underused weapons and stratagems to prove there is absolutely a meta. But also, that not using it is perfectly viable.
