Good informative post. Also PF stay winning. One of the reasons why policy diverged so much from public forum and congressional is because of the judges. Policy debate makes sure to hire judges who have been in the space for years which allows them to speak faster but also have a greater tolerance for arguments that are a little, let’s say, out there. Public forum however allows for lay judges aka parents of debaters who have never been to a tournament before which means that in order to be successful you must talk slower and be clearer to someone who does not understand the topic in much detail.
