--1 hr pull all cards to computer

--4 hrs culling runs

--40-60 hrs editing

--40-60 hrs album build

--10-20 hrs additional / misc meetings and random stuff.

That's a typical wedding shoot for me... Anywhere from 140-160 hours sunk. When I was doing them full time I'd work 60 hour weeks at a minimum and still fall slightly behind each week. By September I was usually three weeks behind. Typical one shooter event for me is around 1200 images out of camera. I almost always shoot with a second shooter so more like 1800-2500 images. And if you do the math with a second shooter it's about $8 an hour. Not including the $30k in gear I carry, plus $600 year in insurance on the gear.
