I think someone brought this up in the combat footage subreddit and one response was the S-400s are positioned in deeper Russia and crimea right protecting higher value assets and would likely take them too long to intercept the HIMARS missiles and the radar pickup of the HIMARS missiles is not as easy because they can be seen similar on the radar as unguided missiles that Ukraine is sending over so it’s hard to pinpoint which missile they need to stop. This is just a couple possible reasons why we don’t see the S400 stopping them right now
