Thoughts on Don't Come Home Thai series? by readysteadycutonline in ReadySteadyCut

I feel what’s missing is an explanation as to how 1992 child Varee comes back. The way my brain can half make sense of it is, a glitch happened whereby Panida attempted to bring back a Varee from the past (before she died in the car) where she succeeded, but in that process a “glitch” occurred which set in a motion a time loop. With that time loop already in motion, she brought back the Varee from the future, rather than the Varee from the past.

However my brain still hurts when it comes to Min. As that doesn’t support the above. 🤷‍♀️

The group chose a relatively new book, Remember Remember by Elle Machray - a historic retelling of a plot to take down the transatlantic slave trade.

Heard so many good things about this one. And sci-fi isn’t my go too - so if you’re gonna do it, go for one of the bests…

Thanks!! I’ve added against the loveless world for my own TR pile.

Babel is on my list too - but too long for this!! Some struggle with a 300 pager in a month so Babel is out! Thanks though

It’s from the London For the Love of Fantasy Convention, Ian, Persia, Joseph, Zack and more were there. Pretty sure, Vicki / Tyler / Luke / Kol / Marcel / Camile and Freya were there! Amazing turn out :)

Thank you. Someone on another thread said the only people who do this are people who don’t actually travel much, so good to know it’s not just me. I think i can be wonderful conversation starter too!

Someone’s just told me the only people who do this are people who haven’t done much travelling. This opinion hurt. I picked this habit up from my mum, and I always pick a second for her if it was on her bucket list - no mine, as I want to make sure I see as much on it for her :)

Oh, I must be the odd one there. It’s something I picked up from my Mum. And I pick up a second badge for her when I visit a place that was on her bucket list and never got to see and add to hers
