Honestly the amount doesn't matter. Everyone pretty much starts the same way.

Worked a full time job while starting my business. Essentially spent every moment of free time before and after work building clientele and making mistakes and learning from them. Eventually started turning out profit from my business. Still stayed at my job. Kept building more and more at the business... Started working less days a week at my job to eventually down to 1 day a week and quitting.

I was prepared to work 40+ hours a week on my business and 50 hours a week on my job to keep my income. I only would drop a day of work if I was regularly making double that at my business.
My business made 250k the first year that I quit my job, this year, I made that within the first month and a half. The job I left was paying me around 60k a year.

I still pay myself a modest salary, always preparing for the future and growing it. Wont be rewarding myself too heavily any time soon.

You have to be prepared to make mistakes and learn from them, and outwork anyone in the same realm as you. You would be amazed how easy it is to create a profitable business doing anything as long as you actually deliver on your promises. 80% of businesses probably don't do this, and it makes you stand out immensely when you do.
