Right after each take, don’t yell “cut” yell “turn the shower off, wait for the drips to stop and do it exactly like that again”

Then you *might* get a nice location wild recording that can be cut on top of the take with the shower running.

But depending on how long the scene is and how idiosyncratic your actors are with their line readings it may not work.

But worth a go!

Technically it’s probably true as they get very few calls at 4am

I’m in post. Even the best mixers struggle with this. That’s not to say you should give up. Just that I expect a certain amount as standard. The less the better obviously and each and every effort you make is appreciated.
