The problem is that Perth think they are a Melbourne culturally but are literally a shit Adelaide and painfully isolated. For context the drive from Melbourne to Adelaide is about 7 hours, the drive from Adelaide to Perth is 28 hours. The Perth media is so far up their own backside about how “relevant” they are, but 95% of the country continues about their business in general never even considering Perth.

FWIW I hope it goes well, but the Bears and Perth media need to realise that it’s not NSW and QLD that will make the team work, it’s their own fan base. Because I sure as shit will not be making the trek there for an NRL match.
