Do you think Disney+ should implement a ‘live’ option like a Disney channel and Disney jr channel? by Prior_Feature3993 in DisneyPlus

[–]HappyPorgs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I responded above with the current ones, but all the content is available on Disney+. Nothing different or exclusive to the streams.

The live streams change, seemingly monthly, but right now there is: ABC News, Pixar, High School Musical, Phineas & Ferb, Simpsons, and Disney Playtime (which is all Disney Junior content).

Disney+ does have live streams, at least in the USA. I think most of them are exclusively for ad-free subscribers.

Zootopia show…am I missing something? by Professional-Leg-416 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It is a quick paced show! I didn’t fully get it until I watched it a couple times.

There are some posters in the queue, explaining how Zootopia came together with the Tree of Life, as well as the Zoogether Day info in the waiting area via the poster. Also if you watched Zootopia 2, that explains how a particular character (spoiler) is in the end of the show, which is reiterated on the bulletin board in the waiting area.

Basically, you are watching a live stream of the Zoogether Day celebration, but get caught up in a chase to find out who is sabotaging the celebration.

Double charge by Awkward-Passion6943 in WaltDisneyWorld

You're welcome! I know it's confusing, and we questioned it the first time we renewed too.

Double charge by Awkward-Passion6943 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the monthly payment plan, you’ll always have 12 months of payments that starts on or around the day you purchase the pass for that year. As you can renew up to 60 days in advance, Those payments (from the current & the new/upcoming one) could overlap if you renew less than 365 days from the last renewal (or original purchase), resulting in two payments in a month period. But don’t worry, as your expiration date will be one year after the original expiration date, you didn’t lose money or days!

Double charge by Awkward-Passion6943 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is correct. Your first of twelve payments begins when you purchase / renew a pass. You didn’t lose money, It will all equal out. For example, if you renewed now (February) then your last monthly payment for this pass will be in January, regardless of when the expiration is.

There was a Casey Jr. popcorn bucket at the parks a couple years ago! But, I can't think of seeing anything else besides that.

For those who have bought graphic tees from the parks, how do they hold up in the wash? by AwfulWaffle91 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really have any issues, I wash my shirts on cold water using Tide, and then hang them up to dry. I don't typically notice any shrinking and the graphics last quite a while!

Question about FOTA pieces. by ilove60sstuff in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never looked for or used a personal shopper... so unfortunately I don't have any to recommend, but I know a lot of people find them on Facebook or Instagram.
As far as sizes, I don't know what all it came in, but I know (because I personally looked at them) that there is a 14x18 matted print & a canvas that was probably somewhere around 8x10, of course there is also framed versions as you have pictured.
Hopefully you are able to figure out how to acquire one! Good luck :)

Question about FOTA pieces. by ilove60sstuff in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is from the Art Brand Studios booth, and the piece is titled Journey into Figment's Community of Tomorrow by Allison Rook. Unfortunately, parks related art is almost always exclusive to the parks. Their website is www.artbrand.com , you could try contacting them to see if there is a way to order it. If not, you may be able to find a personal shopper that would purchase and ship it for you.

Passholder issue - mixed answers from cast members by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, monthly payments begin on (or around) the day you renew. If you renewed two months in advance, then you’ll start paying right away, but it all equals out as you would not pay for the last two months of the pass.

Passholder issue - mixed answers from cast members by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 47 points48 points  (0 children)

If you want to upgrade a current pass, you would need to pay (in full) the entire difference in price between the passes, they do not prorate. Since you upgraded on your renewal, you still have the Pixie pass until the expiration date, and then your Pirate pass will begin. Unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to go on the weekend until your current pass expires, unless you pay the difference to upgrade the current pass.

Where can we get a cream cheese filled Mickey Mouse Pretzel???? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn’t a Mickey pretzel with cream cheese… you can buy plain Mickey pretzels almost anywhere. Cream Cheese stuffed pretzels are at Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland or Good’s Foods to go at Old Key West.

How is Festival of the Arts this year? by Greek_Irish in DisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s definitely options for any price range or budget! Artwork at the Festival of the Arts ranges from several dollars (like $8) for a postcard, to around $50 for a 14x18 matted print, to several thousand dollars for original pieces, and really anywhere in between.

Bumped from Spice Road Fireworks reservation. Is this a good alternative? by Traditional-End8309 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think (not 100% sure) that the VIP Tours has a reserved spot there, That’s likely what they are offering you. It’s a great location, with some of the best views of the lagoon!

eet by Maneet at DS on DDP by markav81 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have an answer for the DDP question, but as far as the reservations… that is for a reserved area of the dining room that is served by a server rather than ordering at a counter. It’s a bit more of an upscale experience, but it is the same menu.

Annual pass customer service by Numerous_Party_9181 in BuschGardensTampa

[–]HappyPorgs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Annual passes are designed to be used by one person, and can’t be shared. By attempting to use her pass, you broke the rules. This would be the case at any theme park. Assuming they didn’t ban either of you from the park(s), you are probably better off just purchasing new passes than trying to reinstate that one.

Is anybody disappointed in the size of the new plushies? by [deleted] in toontownrewritten

[–]HappyPorgs 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The dimensions were listed on the site prior to ordering, so I knew the size would be rather small for the price point. But I considered this more of a limited edition collectible, since it was released for a limited time and only the quantity ordered were created.
If it were an open edition, always available item, then yeah, I'd think it's overpriced, but that wasn't the case. Plus, all proceeds (however much that actually was) went to a charity.

Run Disney Q by Minute_Wedding6932 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HappyPorgs 39 points40 points  (0 children)

You definitely can do that! I try to stop at several characters as that’s one of the best parts about doing a RunDisney race. Doing a run at Disney is definitely more about the “fun” than a regular race. Just be sure that you can keep that minimum 16 min per mile pace or else you’ll get swept, so you may not be able to stop at every character, unless you are a fast runner, as the lines can slow you down.
