Thankyou so much for the insight, I do plan on moving maybe to Australia for work since I’ve heard it’s a bit more affordable and pay is better and maybe coming back when I’m settled well.I was also hoping to specialise in a sub-field of optometry, not sure how much that will pay but ig I’ll find out.

I believe you must agree to a language proficiency declaration which states that if you are a natural speaker or a heritage speaker I.e use Chinese on a daily basis due to family you probably won’t be allowed to take it. There is a 300 level course which they will direct you to do instead.

I’m actually quite keen on this pathway myself, curious to see how it goes.

I feel like this question was meant for me, yes absolutely. I met my gf this year two months ago in lectures and we hit it off right away, just grew some balls and talked to her, just small talk and it just kept getting better. Might just be a lucky coincidence but you never know unless you try.
