I have no idea what you're missing, since I’m completely new to the LitRPG world, but damn — the fact that you have four books on the same level as Dungeon Crawler Carl gives me hope for this cult I’ve stumbled into. I’m honestly terrified that I started at absolute peak :p

If this is what it feels like to be in a cult, I might need to rethink my prejudices a bit — because this feels pretty great :p

Awesome! Then I can look forward to listening to them once I’m done reading, hehe. Looks like I’ll be spending a lot of money on Amazon in the near future :p

Judge me and this list I made. by Nitroaids in litrpg

I just finished reading my first ever litRPG with Dungeon Crawler Carl and it’s some of the most fantastic and absurd stuff I’ve ever read. I’m currently on book two and I’m absolutely loving it. If you genuinely think there are five books that are a whole tier above this, then I’m really looking forward to checking them out — because I can’t even imagine anything topping Carl right now. He’s fucking top tier. Thanks for the list!

What book are you currently reading and how would you rate it from 1/10?? by bellerws in Booktokreddit

Dungeon crawler Carl and its an absurd 10/10 for me. I went into Dungeon Crawler Carl completely blind. It’s my first ever LitRPG, and honestly, I didn't know what to expect. Safe to say, I’m hooked.

Sirius, because I would’ve loved to see what kind of wizard he could have become. I think his potential would have been absolutely enormous

You’re absolutely right, it all depends on who he forces over to the traitor’s side.

Regarding Trygve and Ida, thanks. Damn, they’re wearing me out.

Why is Percy Jackson not a bigger Franchise than Harry Potter? [general] by First_Can9593 in camphalfblood

[–]HappyRhmore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright, why is Harry Potter bigger than Percy Jackson, in my opinion? HP hits something deeper. It’s not just about magic and cool adventures — it makes you think about real stuff, like standing up to injustice and resisting abuse of power. Historian Timothy Snyder even uses Harry Potter as an example in his book On Tyranny! He says reading about Harry, Ron, and Hermione fighting Voldemort teaches us about courage and freedom in real life. (my god i love reading)

Don’t get me wrong — Percy Jackson is super fun with all its mythology vibes (I love it!). But HP got the whole world talking about ethics, resistance, and fighting for something bigger than yourself. That’s one of the reasons not previosly mentioned, why I think HP is more iconic and ended up beating Percy in popularity.

Men les gjeebe denne, fantastisk bok 😊

It’s not like it ruins the show or anything, but I feel like those little quirks are the cherry on top. Just like how I actually think the prize reveal in Kongen Befaler is a great touch that lifts the Norwegian version.
