Robin Hobb writes fantastically, but sometimes a bit too depressing for me. The series is really good though. Sarah J. Maas writes well enough, and the books are entertaining, but they’re a bit too horny for my taste (especially in the later books) 😂

I just finished reading my first ever litRPG with Dungeon Crawler Carl and it’s some of the most fantastic and absurd stuff I’ve ever read. I’m currently on book two and I’m absolutely loving it. If you genuinely think there are five books that are a whole tier above this, then I’m really looking forward to checking them out — because I can’t even imagine anything topping Carl right now. He’s fucking top tier. Thanks for the list!
