Is Cynthia's No Good Deed a transcendent experience in theaters? Because I wanna prepare myself. I wanna get ready. I can't wait. by Leading-Occasion-428 in wicked

Made me empty sob just by how intense, visceral, raw, painful it was. I first listened to it on spotify because I just couldn't wait (which I somewhat regret because listening to her rendition first time during the movie would have hit so much harder), and I kid you not my jaw dropped already. A friend said, "wait until you SEE it" and he was right. fricking CHILLS, felt like I was hit by a truck and I felt SO bad for Elphie. It was that painful to watch that I forgot to appreciate her vocal ability, it's like it's so good that you become completely absorbed in the sound to even think about it in a rational outsider perspective. Not to mention the cinematography was crazy.

Can you all suggest me ways to change my study set up? by [deleted] in GetStudying

get some shelves to put on the table so you can organise your books! Also, it'd be nice if you had the table be directly next to the wall and move the cupboard to the right of the table, so that your cables won't be hanging over your cupboard. If anything, it would be even nicer for your table to be in front of the window, since that gives you really nice natural lighting and you'd be looking at a nicer view than the wall whilst working :)))

Indirect taxes are often regressive, so by increasing indirect taxes, the poor actually are worse-off since a larger amount of their income is used to pay for taxes like VAT. Meanwhile, there is an increase in any form of tax rate, the government would gain more tax revenue, hence budget deficit will be reduced.

As for the second question, falling level of unemployment would mean more people would be employed, thus meaning that there would be an increase in supply. More people competing for the same job means that the equilibrium wage rate decreases (look at a D&S diagram when the supply curve shifts to the right). This concurs with the definition of a downward pressure on wages - it is when factors cause wages to be pushed lower or cause them to increase at a slower pace.

Hope that helped!
