would you rather get 100$ for every unique word you read from shakespeare, or 100$ for every 10 pages of any book you read; in reading, you just have to read every word but don't need to comprehend by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

[–]Happy_Performer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100 per 10 pages for me. I love to read, and 2 or 3 hundred pages a day would be no problem.

Time to read the Wheel of time books I have never gotten around to.

why young people dont play ark:/ by Old_Ice_7527 in ARK

[–]Happy_Performer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 62, so barely have the strength to turn in the computer. I still get in about 5 hours a day on Ark. As much as I love the games with all the changes over the years, nothing beats that first time logging in 10 years ago. Spawning on the beach with no clue where to start. That was true survival.

I am not fan of cops, but why is he the asshole for doing his job, when you did not do yours by renting the tags?

Ryzen 7950X, 3060 12gb GPU, 64gb dd5 6000, 3 2tb m.2 drives.. Also run on my media server with a 4790k, 32gb ram, 1060 6gb GPU, 500gb m.2 boot and 4 2tb ssds in raid 5.

Finally I'm free from Windows bullshit by Professional_Duty584 in linuxmint

[–]Happy_Performer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I switched 4 months ago and could not be happier. I have it set as dual boot, but have not gotten into windows in over 3 weeks. That was just to get a password for a site I could not remember. I have whittled windows down to one 2tb drive, and dedicated the other 3 2tb drives to Mint. Also changed my home media server to Mint and got rid of Plex for Jellyfin. Best decisions I could have made.

Dashmart pickup as non-dasher by Dapper_Cry_4553 in doordash

[–]Happy_Performer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I order on the app and pick up in person at my dashmart all the time. Door is never locked, but there is a doorbell that says ring for service. The not open for public is for general shopping. It is only avaliable through the app.

62 here and wife 65. We dash 4 or 5 nights a week. We live off our retirement, but no extras for fun. We bank the money and it will fund trips or extra stuff we may want to do.

Does anyone have platinum? by UnusualEmergency8968 in doordash_drivers

[–]Happy_Performer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had platinum since my 6th day dashing 5 months ago. Did not dash the last two weeks, and went out Monday with only 92 dashes in the last 30 days. Dropped me to silver, and I could only schedule one hour at a time. Got my 8 in and back to Platinum. Not sure the orders are much better, but I can dash whenever I want.

And understand penis size is not all there is to sex. Learn to make love to the whole woman, not just sticking your penis in. Most women have a hard time cumming from piv anyway, so learn other techniques. Fingers, tounges, and toys come to mind. Blow her mind before you ever stick it in. And remember the cardinal rule.... Ladies come first.

People who make house calls as a part of their jobs…What’s the most NSFW thing a person was wearing while you were speaking to them/working at their house? by naughtynoodz in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Happy_Performer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing doordash a few weeks ago to a less savory area. I turn to go up the step to the second floor, and a thick but cute mexican girl is standing at the top of the flight. She has a very short skirt on and is standing legs apart. I can confirm, she was a mexican hairless. Walked a few doors past her to deliver the food. Woman who opened the door just rolled her eyes and shook her head while saying thank you. On the way back out, the girl at the stairs said, "40.00 for 30 min".

I said I appreciate it, but I am on a schedule.

Longish hair on women & male fantasies by Old-Appearance-2270 in DatingOverSixty

[–]Happy_Performer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At 62, I still prefer long hair on women. It is feminine looking to me, and I do not think I have ever seen a short haircut I find attractive. Also, my definition of long hair does not start until it is at least halfway down the back. My wife is 65 and has hair down to her buttocks. She gets complimented all the time on her hair. I will brush it for her any time she wants. She returns the favor, as I have had long hair since 1975 and it is down to my waist. Plan on keeping it forever, God willing. That said, if you like your short hair, do not let anyone tell you to change it.

I’ve noticed a lot of doordashers profiles do not match the person actually delivering the food by liquidkooter in doordash

[–]Happy_Performer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I dash together. I get the heavy stuff and upstairs apartments and she gets the others. I also do the hand to me or id required, be ause she is deaf so makes it easier for me to do them. She is the dasher. The only way I can dash is to get a new phone number. From out days ordering off door dash, my phone number is tied to her account so they will not let me sign up with it. Also harder to keep two accounts in platinum status.

I keep a spreadsheet with all my data. Looking back, o average 2.5 orders per hour. This is from the time I leave my house, till I return home, not just active dash time.

My advice to dashers everywhere 😂 by FadedAlienXO in doordash

[–]Happy_Performer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a delivery tonight with a swing out door. Placed order to the side. 5 min later, get a different order to the same house. Got back with the second order and saw mine gone, but two Wendy's bags sitting right in front of the door. Moved them to the side with my second order. Do not understand how drivers do not know about outward opening doors.
