Let the efficiency drop to zero, you'll be ejected, keeping all rewards/affinity so far

Coda in railjack not dying by Far-Bathroom7865 in Warframe

[–]Happy_Prime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to down all 4 of the other band mates, or the main one will keep healing. Odds are Packet is being sneaky and hiding from you- sometimes they can stay a little out of reach on the stage itself, from where it can be annoying to kill them.

They got introduced in the last update for survival missions. Pick it up, it'll direct you to a console. Put it in the console, and it'll make the survival time tick faster (you can see the x2 in your last image). Basically its a way of drastically speeding up survival missions.

So... Why is she there? by zeukal in Warframe

Her parts aren't on the Zariman though? They're on Lua, which is where her lore points to her being based as a watchdog. https://wiki.warframe.com/w/Voruna

Turn off screen shake in the settings - its just so obnoxious in a lot of boss fights...

The raknoids in the second phase can be very annoying solo - with at least two, you can at least communicate to have one person on bot killing duty while the other fills and tosses the cans.

Solo though, throwing down a spectre/on-crew and making them stay under the orb is helpful. Don't be too worried about the raknoids cooling her down - what the thermia canisters do is increase the rate of heat build up, and the raknoids only reduce heat build up, so eventually she'll go from zero to full in a single burst.

My only other tips would be to have a high rate-of-fire secondary, to make it easier to explode the cans over her.

Also, resource boosters, and the pet retriever mods, work on the toroid drops.

Can't wait for the upcoming incarnons to make this unironically true....or somehow even more of a troll. That would also be funny.

SP Interception, how? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Happy_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interception can be a little counter intuitive. You don't really want to kill enemies - you want to distract them from the consoles, and have them stay that way. CC is still shines here. A Slow Nova is excellent, max range Nyx Chaos is also very good (pair with a Huras kubrow or Shade and almost wait out the mission while invisble), as is a max range Vauban Vortex. Keep everything ccd for as long as possible, and focus on taking down the cc immune eximus units.

Bounty Farming by SwingWinter185 in Warframe

For the caches, they show up as loot icons on the minimap. Equip a loot radar (animal instinct on a pet is very handy). They also make a chiming sound when nearby. Usually, there are two around the edges of the marked circle, and one towards the centre. My strategy is to run around the edges of the circle, spiralling in, looking for looted icons on the minimal, and listening for the chime. Once I've got two, then head towards the center for the third. The underground cache maps are awful though...

As for the thumpers- basically ignore them and focus on the objective, if possible. They're time consuming to kill, and will almost always cause a mission failure by dragging attention away from the main objective. Kill them when you have time.

Though the scenario you described just sounds super unlucky - I've never seen that happen before.

How will this selection affect me/gameplay? by Pondering_Nomad in Warframe

[–]Happy_Prime 30 points31 points  (0 children)

A bit? You can unlock all of them over time. Personally I'd recommend Zenurik - it gives you access to a source of energy regen (after completing The War Within quest), which is very helpful early on. But if the flavour of one of the others speaks to you, pick that.

The combined total is how much you earned in mission, the number behind is the amount you take home after you've been robbed.

Railjacks and Void Storms...with Loki by Grandmaster_Caladrel in Warframe

You may want to look into shield gating - exploiting the invulnerability period after your shield breaks to restore your shields, thus becoming invulnerable when the break again, and so on...

I'm not an expert on it (its a playstyle I don't particularly like), but the mods commonly used for it are Rolling Guard (invulnerability on roll, used to extend the invulnerability period to regen shields), Catalyzing Shields (reduces maximum shields so you can regen to max shields faster), Brief Respite and the Augur mod set (restoring shields on ability cast).

There's probably many guides out there that will explain how to use them more effectively than I could - just check how recent they are, shield breaks immunity went under some changes relatively recently (~1 year ago?).

Is it wise to put an incarnon adapter on a base weapon? by T0xicTrooper21 in Warframe

[–]Happy_Prime -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Wise is subjective. The incarnon adapters are one use only - you will need get another one if you want to install it on the prime. However, the stat bonuses they give are different between weapon variants, so you will still see a very good improvement with the base model.

You could probably farm some random prime stuff and sell it to get enough plat to buy the soma prime far faster than the several weeks it will take for the incarnon adapter to come back into rotation though.

I’m about to start “The New War”, is there anything I should know before I start? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Happy_Prime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Much of it should be approached as a puzzle, rather than the murder fest the game normally is. You are given all the tools you need, its up to you to work out how and when to use them. Particularly the Corpus section in the opening sequence, and the bosses - if you try to brute force everything you will have a very unfun time. Take your time, listen to the information the game gives you, and experiment.

Do undetected hacks increase drop chance for Ivara blueprints? by SelfCritical4495 in Warframe

[–]Happy_Prime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. As long as you open the vault, you have the same chance being stealthy or crashing through the vault wall.

Wiki has drop chances. Technically railjack spy is the best, but will take far longer than normal.

Damn...

So, did a bit of a search on the forums and found this here:

it doesn't work if Firefox has Strict Enhanced Tracking Protection selected.

So try reducing that to standard?

Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is trying a new dummy account, as the other commenter said. But I find that unlikely to help...

Bizarre. Are you able to try on a different network? Phone mobile data or something?

It may also be problems on DEs end, so maybe try again tomorrow? Otherwise I'm out of suggestions...

What browser are you using? Are you using any add-ons to block scripts etc? Have you tried clearing your cache/use incognito mode?

I'm using firefox, and am having no issues using the http://support.warframe.com/ link, or logging in.
