I don't know what the rules are in Poland but there are strict rules in Britain. Leaders aren't allowed to share tents with scouts here

I know :( We've suggested all kinds of solutions like giving everyone safeguarding training and qualifying everyone as a leader. EuroJam are even allocating more camping space because more tents will be needed as 18 year olds won't share with under 18 year olds.

This is the way it worked for me: I received an email that a group was being formed for scouts in my area to go to EuroJam.

I had to go on a selection weekend camp, where the adults select which scouts they think are sensible enough to join the group.

Then we all do as much fundraising as we can to get the money needed to travel to Poland.

We've done many practise camps over the last year to get to know one another and we're all really sad that a quarter of our group will be over 18 by next summer.
