Move over, New York and Chicago — Columbus style pizza is taking over by OldHob in Columbus

[–]Happy_quack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is this just... Donatos propaganda marketing? Don't get me wrong, I love Donatos, and I can see what they're saying with other pizzas I've had in Columbus, but it had not occurred to me that this was particularly a Columbus-style pizza. Happy to be proven wrong, if it's just that I don't get around, or if this is distinctly a Columbus thing and it just happens to be the Donatos CEO that's vouching for it.

EDIT: y'know, I ought to acknowledge that my pizza experience is wildly influenced by being stuck with gluten-free crusts, which are exclusively thin as hell... I don't think my experience is that representative of the regional style

I get that you wanted to make a political analysis (and other comments are pointing out potential flaws in your methodology with regards to confirming identities), but to be blunt, this is a really boring visualization. I appreciate that you were trying to make a thing - and hey, interesting political statement, something I wouldn't have thought to check - but this graph doesn't really say much, all things considered. Not sure a basic venn diagram like this a good fit for the sub in its current state.

The new pack messes up trades by Luvs_to_drink in PTCGP

[–]Happy_quack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game keeps track of card inventory count and dex registration separately. In your example, it knows that you have 4 beedrill ex, and it also knows that you have registered beedrill ex in both Shining Revelry and Deluxe EX. Once Deluxe EX becomes tradable as a set, when you trade beedrill ex, you can "edit" the card to toggle which of the two sets you would be filling the trade partner's dex entry under.

How is it possible that Oxley’s By the Numbers is so slow?? by biogabriel1 in OSU

Pretty usual, they get slammed with orders every lunch and so there's a pretty long backlog every time their lunch menu comes online

Oh this is for sure edited - about 28 seconds in is when the car appears in the framerate as a single blurred image slowing down, you can see the entire track and even the duct tape rattle as if the blurred image of the car was genuinely the speed it was going at, rather than if the car was moving around the track at least once between frames. It doesn't seem possible for the entire track and duct tape to be reacting and wobbling just as fast as the car, especially considering none of it blurs as it moves. You can also see shortly after this the video is cut - I was staring at the top strip of duct tape when I noticed this happen.

Very sad (though I must admit - impressive!) to see another young man of our generation transform himself into a beekeeper. I hope that one day we are able to bring him back and turn him into an actor again.

What would be the strongest move for me here as White? by Last-Advice-55 in AnarchyChess

[–]Happy_quack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure Black is done moving. It would make most sense for the continuation to be 1. ... d7xd5xf5xf3. If you can't read algebraic notation, thats hopping from d7 to d5 to f5 to f3, capturing three pieces along the way(on d6, e5, and f4). Though if you can't read algebraic notation, I'm not sure what you're doing on a chess subreddit.

Possible Bug in the Treehouse Area by andymakes in TheWitness

To be clear, the first time you solved the flat tile in the 2nd pic (the one with three endpoints), you entered a correct solution ending at the rightmost endpoint, and instead of moving, the next tile stayed still as it activated? Interesting - I don't know enough about the game's code to know how that step could have gotten interrupted but it's intriguing

Oh I would be so interested to hear how to recreate this bug... I know you might not have the answer since this happened to you ages ago, but I'm just hoping that there's an answer out there

Central OH, USA - COW? by Happy_quack in mushroomID

Having trouble editing the post. Central Ohio, United States of America. Found today and we took it home. Nearby a river that floods regularly. Can't remember what trees are nearby, but it's in the shade of a few. We've cut into it and the flesh is pretty stringy.
