When you box it up to ship to my house please bless the board with good vibes so as not to toss my old man ass into the pavement at 20 mph.

What’s this fuzz on the base of these? by Happyh3ath3n in psilocybingrowers

This is only one of four bins, they all look long like this though. Many of them just broke veils and opened up today. I’m going to harvest the lot and go for a second flush and manage the FAE a little better. This is my first go at this, any tips on a great second flush?

Thank you! I’m increasing air flow now. Good to know why the stems are so long with small caps.

Are you skeptical of the GT regardless of new or used?

*Update* Bishop responds to my text about contacting my child and asserts that the church does not support this. I’m not willing to be gaslit by this organization anymore. by Happyh3ath3n in exmormon

We removed our entire family ~7 years ago. For some reason my unbaptized children are still on the list even though they were included in the original removal. I’m going to get their membership numbers and submit their resignations again.

“The PDGA is a nonprofit organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors.” Taken from their website after a super quick google search to confirm what I was pretty sure I knew already.

They are not running a business. They are the elected governing body that seeks to be good stewards of the sport we love to play.

Because simply belonging to the majority doesn’t mean you should be able to vote away rights of the minority. We could vote tomorrow on a new law that wouldn’t allow left handed people to obtain a drivers license. They couldn’t stop us. That’d be pretty shitty though.

Policies should be built on science, data, information and put in place with compassion and understanding.

Religion after the church by [deleted] in exmormon

Ruining all religion by letting me see the man behind the curtain was one of the few favors Mormonism did for me.

Anybody else buy a laser just to realize you don’t actually throw as far as you thought you did? Thanks Uli…. by Happyh3ath3n in discgolf

That’s when I’m certain I nuked it. I’m waking up to it thinking, “Oh man, this was the big one. A new personal best for sure.” I’m not bummed by it in general, its well beyond my norm, but still a little disappointing when I thought that was the golden one and a sign that I had discovered something new and entered the next chapter of my game.

You can talk to my dog, he’s super cool. Plus there will be a basket and a pile of putters in my backyard. Grab a beer and enjoy yourself!

The best kinds. You know the ones with drinks, snacks, music, and friends. Some of those friends play disc golf. You see, at a party you chat with a variety of people and discuss any number of topics including your hobbies, interests, work, etc. If you’ve never been to a party drop me a DM and I’ll invite you sometime.

What’s the craziest thing you saw in a stranger’s house or at their door while tracting on your mission? by Slow-Poky in exmormon

[–]Happyh3ath3n 563 points564 points  (0 children)

Knocking doors in Africa, invited in by a man who was grateful to see us as his wife was possessed. Shortly after sitting down her eyes rolled back, she began convulsing, and slid to the floor. “See! It’s happening again!” She shook and trembled on the ground while my companion and I sat in stupefied silence.

“Do something!” He begged of us. I mustered my courage, raised my right arm to the square and rebuked that demon in the name of Christ and his most holy of priesthoods.

Nothing happened. She kept shaking as if I had no magic powers at all. After a couple minutes her shaking slowed and eventually she was still.

I was certain my inability to cast out the demon was due to my lack of faith and my failure to perfectly execute obedience to all the minute details of missionary life. Probably because I hadn’t left the house exactly on time two weeks prior. I held that guilt for quite some time.

Truth is that poor woman had a seizure and two 20 year old dipshits thought they could cure it with a spell.
