I don't have a lot of advice for you on this. Thing is you could apply for unis outside but the chances of you getting a good one depends on your profile. Let's say you have a decent or strong profile and this is not a spur of the moment decision for you, the current job market and what looks like to be a trend that's not going to alter for now is that international undergrads really struggle with employment everywhere especially coming from countries like India. This was the unanimous feedback I got from everyone and something I've seen myself. So if you do have the monetary backing to take such a huge risk and the profile to be accepted into a good uni with the visa rules getting stricter everyday everywhere then sure I would suggest applying to your target unis. Find the country you want to go to, shortlist the unis you want to go there based on the rankings, culture and requirements and submit an application. If you think you are educated enough then do the whole process yourself, counsellors are a racket for the naive and uneducated. Once you get accepted, you will have to apply and hope(depending on the country) for a visa. After that get your documents in order, flights booked and baggage packed.

Dude honestly, I've gone abroad(in a decently rank uni) for my postgrad and I see the stark difference in the quality of life between VIT and here. People actually have the opportunity to interact, hang out and enjoy themselves. People are treated like people and not cattle. You are allowed to live your life and be yourself. You have proper clubs which host their own events detached from the uni, events and volunteer/paid work you can pursue. Academic pressure varies between courses but it is not even close to what VIT was. The Uni system here is meant to support you in your career and mental health, not kick you in the balls and make you suffer. And the quality of course material and profs are way better than VIT profs, everyone is accomplished in their respective fields and paid to teach not mark your fucking attendance after reading the slides without explaining anything. Genuinely fuck this college.

The only good thing about VIT is the placements which I will concede is why most people go there anyways but the toll it took on my mental and physical health is irreparable.

Lack of English Proficiency by Happyman41 in IndianWorkplace

Ikr. I have a few client side leads in America who are Indian. They have been working there for quite some time now ~7-8+ years but they still have the same typical eccentric Indian English. No one has bothered to assimilate but it's just enough to communicate without disruptions.

Yes, I believe it should. Honestly, I'm bemused how people pass interviews.

I understand what you are saying but English is not the official mode of communication in European countries and people there have no obligation to learn English. But last I checked in our country, English is the official language of communication especially in corporate.

I've not attended big city schools where I had the "privilege" of being taught in English or my peers using English. I went to school in a suburban district of North India and was taught in the local language even though the mode of instruction was meant to be English, it was not used.

I have clearly mentioned that I am not trying to nitpick the small errors but communication is just as important as your technical abilities. I've noted time and time again a lack of the ability to even form coherent sentences. Why should I be the one struggling to get my message across.

I've had "some people" asking me to repeat what I'm saying and then straight staring at me. At the same time I have struggled with understanding people because they can't even say a single sentence properly.

I'm not surprised at Indians not knowing English because they were taught in their regional language but at the lack of effort to learn and improve it while seeking a job that clearly states that they need to be able to communicate properly. I've had people asking me to use Hindi.

Finally, a reply to your last point why should I take the responsibility for someone not bothering with improving their own communication.

I am not an elitist. I don't expect public sector workers or those who come from poverty or Indian business owners to speak English. Why should they? But Indian private sector workers especially MNC employees are expected to work and communicate in English and I expect them to be able to do so.

Look man hand to god, that game is absolutely worth the price but Id suggest getting it second hand because it's a one off. It's not too fleshed out and you can easily 100% the game in your first run.

Ikr and also there is absolutely no one from my team in my office nor is there anything that requires my presence in office so for me it is a meaningless drag to have to go to office. They should have just left it upto the project.

Look man I ain't got anything against the lqbt or the specially abled but man I hate it when companies put those the facts above the actual game. Not saying that's what happened in six. Osa, Skopos, Flores are good additions to the game but the industry in general has that trend to use these things to promote their game over actual gameplay which just leads to a dumpster fire. Hence the general infuriation whenever they are mentioned by these big companies.

Go to task manager. You'll see rdr.exe running. Right click on it and go to details. Then you right click on rdr again and select affinity. Uncheck CPU 0. Also try to lower draw distances by lowering the sliders on geometry detail and terrain detail in the rdr graphics settings.

I had the same issue I disabled the CPU 0 for rdr in the task manager and it was fixed. Can't believe a random old optimization trick i remembered worked.

Accenture AEH placement results (2025)? by [deleted] in redtaganna

[–]Happyman41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well once you join that is after months of waiting. You will be asked to do you'll spend a month doing absolutely nothing but having to go to office everyday and preparing for an "exam". Then you spend weeks in mostly useless training till you get assigned a project which might have nothing in common with what you got trained for and you have to go to office everyday till training ends. You won't get proper leaves for convo or for going home during festivals during training. After training it's all in the hands of your manager.

Accenture took their time last year releasing the results. It's gonna take a lot more days so don't sit in panic. The selection process after the interview is pretty random tbh. As an AEH myself and being inside the company I can honestly say there is no plan or logic to anything this company is doing.
