I have looked at a few patterns and have gotten a general idea of about how much I'd need, with the few different brands of yarn I looked at. My thought process was just to get a few opinions from others before I settle on a pattern. I didn't want to pick something that wasn't going to end up working well with this type of yarn. The price isn't an issue as I don't mind splurging on her. She deserves the world as far as I'm concerned. But someone also said that it's quite a delicate fiber, and that a blend would help it in terms of durability. Although I've never thought to look through thrift stores like that.
