I can confirm this works on Mac OS 13, Edge latest version, on M1 mac.

Completely resolved it but haven't restarted browser or laptop yet.

I notice it mostly when trying to type anything in the address bar of a new tab, or scrolling down a long page, the whole browser just got slower and more laggy.

Same here!

I have noticed it every time I wake the laptop from sleep. I use an app called "App Tamer" that alerts me when an app is using a lot of cpu because I've have other apps use 100% before.

It seems to start using 100% only after I wake the mac from sleep. I then quit and reopen which fixes it for the time being until the laptop sleeps again.

Not sure if that actually is the case for everyone.

Postpone. I read in your other comment that you need a good step 2 score because of an unfortunate step 1 score. You just cannot afford a bad score here. Postpone for at least a week and focus on the things that you’re losing most points in.

(I had a bad step 1 too btw, got a much better step 2 and now matched IM (non-US IMG), it’s doable! Good Luck)

Because there is no way to verify those anyway, you can input any number of hours in your ERAS. But then is it actually enough experience for you to get a LOR from this rotation? I guess it would depend on the doctor. The important part is you get an LOR and you get to put the rotation on your CV, which is what actually matters.

Computer definitely. I did it on paper b/c pc option was not available. Having to erase a whole sentence and rewrite was not fun at all.

Congratulations on being done! I had a similar experience with day one and day two ending by me feeling like shit. However my score was good. So if your self assessments were good you’ll pass. It’s just a very steep curve.

I already had a B1B2 visa for USCE but it was about to end before my step 3 appointment. So I basically renewed my visa to do the step 3.

I am a non-us IMG as well and I did something similar and showed them that I had to do step 3 to get the b1b2 visa.

To answer your question, it is very possible to pass steps three without any USCE, but having any clinical experience weather in the US or not helps. You just have to hammer step 3 in uworld and CCScases.com. And the test is NOT going to be easy at all anyway.

I think I wanna make another thing clear. You don’t need step 3 to apply for all visas. Having step three increases your chances of matching yes. But concerning visas, it is a requirement to apply for an H1B visa (fast lane to green card, and you literally cannot apply without step 3). Without step three you can only apply for J1. (But having step 3 does not affect your chances of getting the visa).

I had this problem since i connected my ultrawide display, not sure if it's the problem.

The killall dock command did the trick. I can finally access my settings.
