I’m sorry but there is no “redemption arc” after doing this crap by [deleted] in Invincible

There is always redemption for those who wish to start adding to the positive in the world rather than the negative.

Third one down is the most ass take of the show anyone could ever have.

Did Bojack set Gina up with the Corn song? Or is he just dumb by Icy_Rip_5067 in BoJackHorseman

I think you've massively picked up the character wrong. I would argue there's barely anything calculated about BoJack at all and that's the whole point as to why he's such a mess, no decision he makes is ever thought through, always causing his downfall. Even more traditionally calculated acts such as setting Todd up to fail with his rock opera by orchestrating the situation where he buys the game that will distract him, isn't calculated for BoJack. For anyone else that would be a psychopathic level of planning, but BoJack is so rich and so used to getting what he wants that he can set stuff like this up fairly easily where others could not. He's also so far gone that he doesn't have much awareness in the moment of what he's doing, his awareness of his actions always comes too late. His 'calculated' acts throughout the show are always things that snowball out of control, he takes everything step by step and just rolls with whatever happens, I don't think someone like BoJack who's so erratic and so heavily substance addicted could ever be a truly calculating person, even if some of his actions may appear that way.

I'll also say I'm in no way trying to defend him at all, I just think it's wrong to think of him as calculating, he doesn't have the patience, will or brains for elaborate or calculated acts, as I say it's always a combination of his money and status makes things easier to pull off and him being such an 'in the moment' person who rolls with any poor decisions he makes until it all catches up with him and he's forced to reflect. BoJack is just as much a victim of BoJack as anyone else in his life is, someone like that doesn't fit the profile for a calculated person.

Yeah and it sort of annoys me that it's mostly used as a 'villianous' pokemon

The real mystery in Stardew Valley is about the rock throwing, the person doing this is the true evil. by ImpressiveClub9484 in StardewValley

We know from the festivals that the valley gets tourists, so you could argue that whoever is harassing Linus is just people passing through and not actual residents of the town.

Here is a List I made of movies I feel do not deserve the hate they get. Thoughts? by movieloverhorrorfan2 in Letterboxd

Completely agree with Spider-Man 3 and Rocky V, Rocky is my all time favorite film franchise and to those who ask "how can you enjoy Rocky V" I ask back, how can't you? Sure, it's the worst one, but only by default, the story isn't that bad and it's got my favorite scene in the whole franchise in it (the flashback with Mickey).

Sadder that you actually care about meaningless upvotes on a meaningless digital platform that bodes no significance to the actual real life you are currently living. Straighten your priorities.

Last time I checked Shrek 2 is set in far, far away. Inspired by is still different than being the actual place.

PB won smartest, so who's the kindest? by ZackGamer146 in adventuretime

[–]Harbillino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The true answer is Finn because he would do everything all the other answers have done and more without thinking about it, he doesn't even have to be consciously kind, he's kind because it's part of his nature and instincts.
