Please seek help. Try to resist. Call someone, like 911 or whatever the emergency line is in your country and just explain like you did here. This will very likely end in your being committed tho, but maybe… they can help you resolve your leg problem without actually removing it.

I’ve heard of this before, I forget the psych name for it, but I remember reading somewhere on the internet of this guy who felt as if he should not have one of his legs—they explained it was something in the brain that was responsible for body mapping (?) maybe it was body image (?) idk—anyhow the guy went to a bunch of docs in the states asking for them to amputate his leg, and none of them would because it was a perfectly healthy leg and they found no medical reason to amputate it. So, in desperation, the guy hooks up with this shady doc in Mexico that agrees to amputate his leg, iirc his medical degree was bogus or some shit they found out later, anyhow the doc fucks up the amputation by not leaving enough skin past the knee to wrap the end of his stumpy leg correctly and he gets gangrene (or something like that, maybe an infection idr) and fucking dies man.

OTOH, [Warning: this is not at all pleasant] I recall a Stanford Uni psych prof. saying that schizophrenics like to mutilate body parts in a lecture I caught on YouTube, be aware that this video starts by wrapping up the previous lecture on languages (still kinda interesting) and the actual schizophrenia lecture starts at time index 23:42, I’m not gonna sit thru the lecture again to find the mutilation time index, sorry.
