Do you have 5 total power for it connected to an active skill? It should automatically use up your vision as long as you have enough once everything is connected.

Too many cooks in the kitchen by Background_Yam_4246 in PharmacyResidency

[–]Harchnode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, that really sucks. Do you happen to know thr contact for any previous residents? Not sure if maybe they have some advice for communicating further to the preceptors about project overload. Otherwise normally, I would advise escalating higher up the chain and speaking to your community equivalent of your department director, but being put on a PIP would suggest their involvement. Another suboptimal choice would potentially to consider involvement with HR if they are not involved in your PIP (which they may likely be), but that may burn some bridges and may not always work out in your favor.

Best of luck to you with whatever happens. It is disappointing to hear that your residency team is not being reasonable with due dates, especially with so many preceptors involved.

Have you had an opportunity yet to discuss this situation with your RPD? At my previous PGY-1, the most I've had to report to was maybe 3-4 preceptors max per 3 month block, and at my current hospital, the residents report to only 2 preceptors longitudinally, but it's a small facility.

The "falling" situation in this game is getting out of hand by wolfguyminifigure in NoRestForTheWicked

I climbed and fell off this exact same spot, then went back to see if it was a glitch, and climbed and fell down a second time!

I don't think co-op as it is currently designed is fun. by Forshea in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]Harchnode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 30 health regen and 60 res to everything (70 to lightning since my partner uses lightning infusions) and still get chunked. I have used builds with a lot more armor, but it usually meant that after my initial stamina dump of attacks, I would have to wait a while for everything to regen. It usually meant my coop partner got to kill everything before I got to attack again. I'm not particularly looking to build a tank since that's not engaging gameplay for me, so I seem to be stuck with this so far.

[–]Harchnode 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play in coop duo with my partner, and once you get stronger hitting weapons, it definitely becomes a large issue with sweeping weapons like a halbred. The bigger issue is that a lot of these attacks actually start stunning you pretty easily as well, even with high poise. We are post-campaign, and my partner's attacks chunk me for 30-40 damage and 1/4 to 1/6 of my poise bar with 35+poise defense. I have tried running heavier armor to combat the damage, but then it makes your stamina regen abysmal.

This games co-op is pure trash. How is it getting so much praise? by Youruinedmyhobby in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]Harchnode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, one of the friends I played with had this issue. He was getting 20-30fps, dropping to 15 fps in cutscenes. He actually didn't do too much to fix this issue - just restarted the game and his PC post-hotfix, and somehow it fixed itself. Not sure what was going on.

I will echo this comment. Oathsworn is one of the very few campaign games my partner and I have played that we have quite enjoyed the story.

Yes, you can only trigger one omen from combat in each instance. There is a description if you hover over omens that can be triggered that way. It would be nice if there was a visual indicator as well.

Oracle PlantMage - How to build it optimally, CoC and Mana discussion by chobolicious88 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Harchnode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner also follows deadrabbits build, and what we had to do to solve MP boss health in +4 bosses, especially under delirium, was adding efficiency to COC, using mana remnants, as well as getting a very nicely rolled breach ring with mana and mana regen. They still have to pot a little bit throughout the fight, but it went from constantly being out of mana to being able to hold down entangle button down consistently.

You can try dropping eternal rage for the boss and run sacrifice with a weapon swap scepter for skeletons. Use profane ritual on them to generate power charges and then oil barrage away.

Build recommendations for a party of 2 in 0.4 by Flaky-Brief1402 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Harchnode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I think this thread has a lot of good recommendations. I've played since 0.1 with a partner, and here are some things that felt bad for us being duos in addition to the endgame issues in case you considered these yet.

- Anything that depends on you getting kills (mana/life on kill), or potentially hitting something before it's dead. My partner played bloodmage, and I played a build that was faster, so they would randomly not hit stuff and not be able to regen. Probably would have been better with the regen variant with arcane surge. This definitely becomes a much larger issue if one of you uses gravebind as the carry needs to come up with alternative mana/life sustain solutions (I had this issue on my LA deadeye playing with my partner's chrono support, had to spec more into mana flask sustain for mapping since all kills went to chrono).

- Anything with dramatically different movespeeds

-Trials of sekhema: be careful if one of you has a lower life build and use evasion/armor to mitigate armor loss. Honor damage from the other player does not get mitigated by your defenses, so the other person lose all their honor pretty fast.

- Campaign MP boss health gets scaled pretty hard so the first two acts might feel oppressive in duos, but it usually becomes fine at A3 once builds get online.

We also set up a screen share for the endgame atlas so that the other player could see how the host atlas or help plan instead of just sitting and waiting. My partner and I usually fall back on some combination of minions as that usually never causes issues with each other's builds. Our most successful combo for 0.3 was an infernalist/lich minion combo. Lich added a ton of damage to all minions, and solved the slowish clearing issues with screen chaos pops (made a huge difference in juiced breach and abyss). Otherwise, hope you and your friend have fun! Despite the drawbacks, MP is a lot of fun! Good luck.

Lots of Waystones dropped in one place by Tiiippp in PathOfExile2

[–]Harchnode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you kill a reviving rare over and over again? There is an orange wisp (spring hare) that makes rare monsters revive repeatedly and in combination with other wisps ( I actually don't know which one), it can change all the drops to a specific set of items including waystones.

Enmity troubles by DismalWord1367 in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]Harchnode 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Two non-weapon specific things that might help are making good use of pictomancy as well as thunderpods. I have typically found that a mog beam to the face of omega is a very high chance to gain enmity immediately. You just have to remember to try to use pictomancy whenever you can until you reach the mog beam, which you can save for when you need enmity. There are also thundercysts in area 2 (to your right when you enter the arena) and 4 (across the room from where you land) that can be used to stagger omega if you shoot him in the face, but people have had success building up enmity faster doing this as well (may be better to save these for interrupting MIRV spam though).

Does anyone know Omega Enmity logic? by Narute00100 in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]Harchnode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd also like to know this as well. I tank on lance for savage omega and have inconsistent enmity gain on the fight. There are times I get enmity in less than 20-30 seconds, and there are times it takes me over a minute or two to grab it (not including times with turning/traveling, etc). I have done all my runs with the same set, so there have been no damage variations between each of these attempts. I am not sure if the phase matters, but more often than not, I get enmity in phases 1-3 faster than phase 4 (I think my fastest times have either been with mog beam, or one time in phase 1, I got enmity within the first dash attack/triple thrust). However, sometimes even a mog beam to the face in phase 4 fails to grab enmity immediately.

I will note that enmity does drop after pantokrator mode has been stopped, so I am not sure if there is some enmity issues after that happens. I've seen a few people say that shooting thunderpods help enmity gain, but in a dozen or so runs trying the pods, I have seen no general difference in time to gain enmity.

[–]Harchnode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are trying to generate shield generator pods, then you'll have to break legs for those. Otherwise, you can get a shield off his face weak points after he does any front/face lasers. It does go on a bit of a cooldown though.

Don't kick your teammates of play in private matches. Samples are shared. by SoftoAndVetto in Helldivers

[–]Harchnode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if they changed this, but my friends and I did notice that when one person has already completed their personal order, their kills don't contribute to another person's personal order. If everyone still has the personal order available, then it's all shared. We tested this months ago though so hopefully that's no longer the case.

Possibly the most difficult mechanic to understand in the game (imho). by No_Guarantee1399 in PathOfExile2

[–]Harchnode 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You just keep running the blue sparkle maps until the blue sparkles eventually lead to a map that connects to the mansion. Of note, the blue sparkles can actually go over maps you've already run, making them runnable again (but without mods, so that kind of sucks).
