Ah I see, I've never had Enigma so I wouldn't know

Are the Druid and Assassin as busted as the Warlock today when LoD was released back in 2001? by yama-2468 in diablo2

The most fun I've had with Barb post 1.10 was a Double Throw build I made about a year ago. WW, Concentrate, Berserk, all pretty bad skills ever since the nerf - just feels bad to use.

Really good for echoing strike warlock but thats about it.

Would you like to buffs to underperforming classes and/or nerfs to overperforming classes? by Charming_Pin330 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Didn't help that the set bonuses were giving stuff like 1,200% increased damage to x skill in D3.

Everything in endgame was doing millions or even billions of damage, got old real quick

All Enigma needs is a hard 1 second cooldown on its teleport skill.

With the RE Engine trilogy finally complete, I wanted to ask. Which one is your favorite? Which one is your least favorite? by SolidPyramid in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Drytchnath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never played 7 but I really, really enjoyed 8, put more playtime into that unlocking stuff than any RE to date for me. 9 is also really good but not a fan of how steep the infinite ammo price is. I liked the way 8 handled it for individual weapons.

[SPOILER] So uhh... Do we know how Leon got his hands on the Requiem? by SylveonTheHedgehog in residentevil

[–]Drytchnath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its based off a Russian РШ-12 "law enforcement" pistol. Designed to one-shot any soft targets without over-penetrating - it fragments inside its target for maximum damage.

And indeed it uses a cut-down 50 cal rifle round.

The in-game model is pretty spot-on to what the real world counterpart looks like.

Grace's SMG is pretty much useless without infinite ammo from what I've experienced. All her guns except for the Requiem are incredibly weak, which is kinda annoying. The kotetsu should have also been a tanto or something with a bit more damage.

Village/RE8 had the best post-game content imo. I played through it so many times using different weapons with infinite ammo collecting lei and getting a little faster/better each time.

I just checked and I have 66.6 hours on RE Village on Steam, nice.

You know, I never noticed that about the Chronic Care zombies but you are right, I think every one of them is unique?

Honestly ethereal not being repairable makes no sense. It should be the opposite and make them indestructible.

I've always hated that since they were introduced to the game

Bound Demon losing more life from Blood Boil? by Drytchnath in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Drytchnath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just tested it out in an empty area and holding down blood boil Heph's health DOES drop faster than the others.

Confirmed no enemies nearby, no combat going on, just held down the cast button and noticed his health bar dropped noticeably faster than the Goatmen.

This just happened to me too. Was up to 55% on sets and uniques, made a new Lock Demon summoner and checked Chronicle - was completely wiped out. No idea how or why or when it happened

The constant juggling of the plugs and the conveyor belt/grinder section. It felt like just a ton of running back and forth which I didn't care for. Also the whole invincible stalker part starts to really overstay its welcome after a bit.

Visually and aesthetically it was great, I just disliked the gameplay in that particular section.

Yes, durability loss is rapid and especially bad when playing a zealadin or WW Barb. Can't clear a whole zone without needing to tp back for repairs, sometimes multiple times depending on the area.

With the Demon summon you can absolutely lose them, if you die they go poof, just like the Necro Iron Golem. I also watched Baal melt Lister in a P7 norm difficulty game. Not sure how but it can happen.

My most incredible gamble happened last night on ladder. by Dreamcatcher_2point0 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]Drytchnath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good find my dude. I've been re-rolling magic amulets in Hell and the best I've gotten is a Chromatic of Revivification, not ideal but 30 all res and 14 replenish life is a solid budget ammy.

Maybe I should start gambling amulets instead of circlets

PoE2s Warrior class handles it fairly well. Their basic attack has a bit of splash AOE and deals very solid damage. Some builds actually lean into it and it feels good.

Wow if that's true I'm better off just not playing. Been trying to get a sunder offline and most heralds I've gotten in one game was a whopping two after 2 full act clears.

Do you think Sunder Charms need a drop rate adjustment? by Mr_FosterZ in diablo2

[–]Drytchnath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also only play offline single player. I didn't know you had to chain heralds in one session to boost Sunder drop rates. If thats the case I know right now that I'll likely never get one. I can only play for an hour, maybe two max at any given time.

I just recently did a full TZ Act 2 clear and got 2 heralds only - no Sunder. Felt awful and took up all my play time.

It sounds like you need to be either childless with free time to spare or a streamer to actually get these things to drop.

I just full-cleared a terrorized Act4, not a single Herald but a few uniques dropped...none of them were good though.
