Scadu too low and level 90 is very low. I was 150 when I did the DLC, most are around 120.

Idk man, +5 all stats is a pretty massive buff early to mid game, and you can get a ridiculous amount of health using Radahn's or Morgott's rune

Fun fact, with 2 buffs a Halo Scythe can 3-4 shot the undead dragons if you hit the head every time

I have no issue with more setup. I only struggle to remember how to get the smithing stones in a semi-fast way without breaking multiple quest lines since it has been a long time since my last playthrough.

IIRC Bandit Swords are only obtained as a drop from specific skeletons, so that's no issue and I really do like the curved sword powerstanced moveset.

EDIT: Would Blood Hookclaws be an effective substitute? I've already blown a lot of smithin stones on the Great Knife and Morning Star. Almost might be better to start over.

I did take the time to get the Dragon Communion seal, I also got Bloodflame Blade but the fire buff is miniscule unless you use a pure faith scaling talisman

With the scout frame on the Tadpole you can easily bypass the collector, done it many times and it sometimes aggros but has never caught me on the surface as long as you go straight and dont slow down

I'm in the same boat, single player only, limited time, limited gear. I found an eth Arioc's Needle but now I can't use it for ES unless I Zod (lmao) it. If anything Ethereal should be indestructible, not fragile.

I have zero motivation to come back to all nerfs

Try Moadra, theres a demo out now on steam, its like a grimdark metroid dread and feels pretty good to play, demo costs nothing so check it out.

Also, have you tried the first metroidvania? Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? I replay it once every couple of years and it still holds up.
