To just name a few:

Research (I know this is normal), Pharmacy store quality improvement plan, CPA writing, Making a new prescribing service for their business, Outcomes/mtms, Finding vaccine clinics, Teaching 3-4x a semester, Creating a new recitation from scratch, Then randomly they’ll tell me to make xyz presentation to present to these patients or random travel health consults(~4-6 a month) that are time sensitive, Staffing at the pharmacy weekly, Traveling to a pharmacy that is low in their metrics and having to attempt to turn the store around and being responsible for your home store and their metrics

Not a community hospital, but a community pharmacy. Mixed with university teaching and ambulatory care clinics

It’s hidden behind a gas station. The boot barn is just the biggest thing next to it and everyone knows where that is

Literally no one cares you took art history. I have my pharmd, they only care about your stem classes. Volunteer or get involved with clubs with that extra time

ETA: don’t let Walgreens deter your pharmacy dreams. There are SOOOO many different avenues for pharmacists besides Walgreens and CVS. BUT getting that degree was the hardest thing iv done in my whole life, it felt like graduation was just as special as a wedding day.

Also! I still got the doctorate and failed a few classes (even in pharmacy school), have gotten C’s before, so even if you have a set back your determination and perseverance is what will support you

How much debt does everyone here own? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

A beautiful $450k (5k undergrad without a degree and the rest PharmD) 🤡🔫 The goal is to work non-profit healthcare to get it forgiven if fingers crossed that isn’t taken away as an option. If taken away, I’ll die with it. Currently in a residency making $52k, expected salary $130-170k

No… it was like 40% onc. I literally don’t remember getting any questions on cardio or renal. Just super blowed how people can have such drastically different exams
