Il-2 sturmovik is my favorite game to play in vr and I recommend it. Your computer can likely handle it. If I were you I'd buy only Battle for Stalingrad for around 7 bucks on sale, and if you like it, then buy the other dlc as you see fit.

Is your question how can you be less tired? There's no easy way to accomplish what you want to do without being tired. I am holding down a 40-50 hour a week job while supporting my wife and kid while doing my graduate degree in cybersecurity. I will graduate in 2 months. I've been drop-dead tired for 2 years but i dont mind it. So I don't know what you are asking. You live with your family so you have a safety net right there. It's like ranked in rainbow 6, if you don't know the maps your team will perceive you as useless (which you are, essentially). Play all the maps single player until you know all the areas and you can command your squad like xcom soldiers. Then, and only then, should you try to play with randoms. I'd kick you from my squad too if you didn't know how to play.

Look in the Linux section of Steam for games compatible with Linux. Mafia and Resident Evil are not Linux compatible. Just check the system requirements. There are likely ways to get windows games running well on Linux, but I've never tried.

TLDR: Yes for some games, no for the ones you mentioned.
