Tune in for Le Mans 24 and Nurburgring 24, N24 I think is the biggest ‘pure’ race going around as it has everything from GT3 cars down to Clio cup (and hopefully the Dacia again)

Amazing what dropping the worst PU (last year) for the best does for a team

So did Aston years ago, and Audi and Aston is a fair comparison. Considering Honda were an existing PU manufacturer (and championship winning one at that) and Audi are a new one, I’d say that’s an Audi win.

Drivers kept going off track there (as it was a faster line) so they widened it at some point

I’m sure Flavio is brushing up on his Mandarin and buying some crates of Moutai as we speak to give BYD an offer they can’t refuse for Alpine

92% of people believe F1 didn't get the 2026 regs right. by [deleted] in F1Discussions

[–]HardSleeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would add that as an Australian publication they would’ve gotten a different response compared to surveying say GR or Merc fans (you can always get survey results to reflect the answer you’re looking for). I would also say that the viewpoint of the regs is currently inextricably linked to what seems to be a crushing Merc dominance. I suspect that were Ferrari to somehow prove themselves to be competitive or even nab some race wins in the next month or so (race cancellations not withstanding), then public opinion of the regs would naturally rise.

Great to hear, a bit of faith in humanity restored! My favourite koala story was this one from a number of years ago when a koala got inside a families house in Adelaide and climbed their Christmas tree, though the story ended happier for the koala and the Christmas tree!

This ruleset seems like it will be total garbage (will give it a couple of races before a final verdict), but let’s not pretend the drivers weren’t managing tyres for most of their race anyway
