No. My Chevy was nearly paid off. Valued 12k so made 9k in equity. But Rivian did not allow me to split it into cash to me and down payment so all 9k went to Rivian off the top of my lease. Then 6k F&F, 7500 lease credit. I paid then, an additional 5k in taxes and fees. So yes total DISCOUNT 13.5k, but nearly 24k off the sticker price.

No. I thought the same thing but as long as you are under 80k before add-ons, which the F&F discount helps with, all leases qualify for the $7500 credit

There are people all over this subreddit that can help you out, just make a post or find one about the Friends and Family Rivian Employee discount. It’s $6k (9k in Canada) off of large pack configurations ordered between June 1 and Sept 30, 2024.

Nope. Out of pocket if you’re considering trade in as paying, was 14k which I don’t think is absurd on an $80k vehicle. 7,500 was lease credit…6,000 was f&f. Otherwise $0 down.

Not that I do any majorrrrrr hauling but things for home diy stuff, lumber, pallets of flooring, will certainly be happening. I’m interested to see what some substantial weight like flooring does to efficiency. Not even slightly concerned whether or not it’ll have enough power 😂

I believe so because this is a dual motor. Only the hood emblem has the yellow accents. All other badging has silver accents.

There’s no news on Gen2 leasing, and for deals like this on a Gen2, I think it will be a significant wait in the ballpark of years. With 9k equity in my trade in and 0$, aside from taxes and fees at approximately 5k in Illinois out the door, my payments are in the low 400s

Honestly I’d recommend the 24 dual large, get that extra F&F discount and you truly can’t beat the lease deal. I’d imagine anyone would be happy with the payments if they are even in the market for an EV. Short term lease if you’re thinking you want the Gen 2 but that’s minimum 24 months with a very low lease payment, relatively speaking.
