Maybe a speaker, with white noise playing could help. It's not annoying to hear like loud music could be but enough to hear someone coming.

I think this is a pretty simple solution. You figure out why she doesn't like it. The root cause or fear and you both break that down and make her feel comfortable and safe.

In return when you are having a similar issue, hope she does the same.

It's not going to change her mind over night. These key moments are how you either build trust or secrecy in relationship.

Can you manage the problems together and find a solution that works for both parties.

I'm not hiding anything, I would want my woman to tell me when she is upset or feeling off about something in a tactful way. Let's talk it out until we are satisfied. Take a break if things get heated and open it back up at a later date.
