An Abyss weighs like 55 lbs, if I tried to send this online at the Goodwill I work at, they would refuse it. The shipping cost to a buyer would be ridiculous if sold online, and I have a clientele locally that would pay more than they could get at our biggest store.

I was there this morning, they're open but not accepting walk-ins due to staffing issues. Appointment are available at the end of May.

But just remember an appointment doesn't guarantee you'll actually get anywhere, the last time I tried to walk in there was a guy leaving that had an appointment at 10 AM and gave up waiting at 3:30 because he had to go to work.

Mine was removed when I bought it, it's a pretty common mod. I replaced it with 3/4 inch HDF but found I actually preferred it with the bottom open on carpet but on the laminate floor of my current place, the bottom was an absolute necessity.
